@@lygia0422 Yes, sometime around 1980-1981, however Martial Law was at its peak back then. Unlike Voltes V or Mazinger Z which have re-aired in local TV stations after the downfall of Marcos Dictatorship in 1986, Gundam only aired in the Philippines in the 2000's through reruns in Animax.

@@saltwater7366 Yeah, afaik the name isnt mobile suit, but Mobile warrior. the unlicensed itallian dub (Sunrise had yet to work out licensing at the time, or offer it, and some itallian company got it dubiously) Called it Mobile Warrior Gundam. I assume that's the correct translation, but it may have fallen out of favor? i'm not a gundam nerd so, i could be wrong
