I have stayed there several times. It is a nice, clean hotel. I like the location. In South Beach, but just north of the more noisy and congested parts. Helpful staff, too.
What a shame it became a Hilton 😢. The best years as the Banana Bungalow with a perfect site clients and staff. I lived there a year before spreading my wings and getting an appartement just behind on Flamingo drive. The golden years of Miami Beach are gone 😢😢😢

Maybe 3,5 out of five. The absolute best is the location.
