Was curious how this exhibition would go out.Happy it turned out to be a great game! Sad I couln't make it to day 2. Nonetheless happy meeting you Ayumu!
My dude, it was such an amazing match. I want to ask you, what is the rule about the beginning of the match? You get to see the hand before deciding who goes first?
Hi Francisco, great to see you here! I've sent an email to Soluciones, so he should be telling everyone in the LATAM community soon, but yes, I've confirmed with the other staff members at the Bandai Card Fest in Utrecht, you do look at your hand before deciding who goes first.
I definitely think that it was partly because my deck wasn't catered to any set 6 cards (it didn't contain any set 6 cards at all). Now that I've faced against the sushi deck, I've found potential ways to get around it. Either way, tuna gives me PTSD now.
@AyumuBSseminar Yeah, I've been play testing for worlds and it's definitely a good deck, but not unbeatable and definitely can have some consistency issues.
Oh hello! Haven't seen you popping up in the community for a while xddd The easiest answer would be that he just wanted to prolong the game, but from a gameplay standpoint, it still makes sense. It came down to the fact that I had a Burst set, which could've been Vanish in the Wind Technique, and if I managed to activate that, he'd basically be allowing me to recycle my whole deck while also stacking. So with him being pretty much at an advantage just by attacking with tokens, there wasn't a need for him to take the risk just for the sake of ending the game quickly, especially since it wasn't timed. This is why he finally decided to summon Magni when he realised I ran out of Burst.
@@AyumuBSseminar Ah ye I'm still around lurking. And ye I see. True I guess if he was worried for Vanish that's understandable. Cool game though. Felt nice seeing the Curse Dragon combo still being used.
@@RarecuisineSaucegod-ig8bc Because that wasn’t their deck. The sushi deck was my friend’s, the tokens were printed by me. Originally they wanted to borrow our decks for an exhibition match between two developers, but then they changed their mind and decided to face a player (me) instead.
I just realised this is the first time that I displayed my face on my own channel

decklist for Summoners' Duel Utrecht?
I can provide mine, but the deck lists in general aren't public yet
Looks like Yutaro had Magni in hand for ages. He could have won with the deckout for quite many turns there. Wonder why he didn't go for it.

@@DrAdreus Literally still one of the best combo in Purple. Nothing else can compare to it.
@@AyumuBSseminar Ye just a bit expensive cost wise.
