ANTHARAGANGE TREK || ANTHARAGANGE CAVE EXPLORATION || 60KM FROM BANGALORE || Vlog No. 12

This trip takes us to a famous temple in Kolar, Karnataka having a wonderful trek & exciting #CaveExploration as well. #AntharaGange means "Ganges from deep" in Kannada. It is about two miles from the town of Kolar and seventy Kilometers from #Bangalore. Antara Gange is famous for Sri Kashi Vishweshwara temple, also known as Kashi of South. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. In the temple is a pond which gets a continuous flow of underground water from the mouth of a Basava (stone bull). It is believed that drinking water from the pond cleanse one from many diseases. Way to Antara Gange caves is a steep and narrow path behind the temple to top of the mountain. The caves are 2.5 km from the temple. Trekking in and around caves is popular here. It is just 60 kms away from my place in Bangalore and is a recommended place to visit for a day trip is well known for its Natural Volcanic Rock Formation. It will take you about 1.5 hours to reach from Bangalore and roads are awesome except some stretch inside the Kolar town. This is a perfect and different kind of day trip from Bangalore. Please carry your own food, water if you are planning to visit this place as there is not much food stalls in this trekking trail except coconut water. Also please wear a comfortable shoes with good grip for safer #trekking. The trekking difficulty level in Antharagange is moderate, hence any average build person can do the trek without any issue. However please pay special attention if you are planning to explore the caves. The caves are here very adventurous with certain narrow & dark passages inside and this needs greater agility to explore the caves successfully. Our experience was amazing here. Highly recommended place for adventure lovers for a day around Bangalore.

History : Shata Srunga Antaragange (100 hills and underground ganga water from flows didn't stop till now):
1. Parashuram kills all the kshatriyas in this hills that's y the name Kolahala pura which turned to Kolara.
2. Rocks are unique which formed by volcanic erruption thousands of years ago.
3. Capital of first Kannada dynasties.
And please avoid plastic it really destroying the wildlife around. 🙏🙏
