Thanks for making this video Justin! I just received mine 5/9/22, and I really like it. Outside of wanting the build quality to be better, I only wish that there were more mounting options on the top and side, and that the diopter had some sort of locking switch. It's smooth to move, but also easily thrown if bumped or if the foam piece is placed/removed. I think after this, I might try out the Z Cam EVF.
Do you recommend this evf? I’ve got a lumix Bs1h rig build and the peaking is the freaken issue I’m running into lol Peaking over hdmi is too weak to see and monitor(atomos shinobi) peaking is too distracting. I’ve even thought about getting an sdi shinobi version but not sure if that setup would just look crazy. Two monitors on a camera? Lol
do you find viewfinders difficult when wearing glasses? I used to love using an EVF but ever since I started wearing glasses I've switched to monitors. What's your experience?
I just received mine the other day, the diopters adjustment dials into your eyes fairly easily. I am slightly disappointed with the frame rate. But maybe there is something I am missing either on the Komodo output or option on the Leyes? (Actually I was looking for that when I found this video.)
Hey Justin, just curious if you still recommend this EVF? What do you do about an anti-fog solution and how do you find the size and quality of the image?
@@JustinPhillip Good luck friend. The prices are worse than Contax Ziess and the lenses are slower. There's a 35mm showdown on the Contax Zeiss FB group. You'd be suprised which one people liked the most. Cheers.

For some reason, i just could not get used to using an EVF on the Komodo.

Hi Justin, any latency? SDI better then HDMI for latency? I would be using with GH5.
downside is, the GH5 has latency all on its own
