OS X is a good in between between Windows (piece of shit but good software support) and Linux (great Unix for the desktop, software support is far from perfect) by providing something somewhat worse than Linux but with a quite decent software library. If you do heavy Photoshop work or audio production, OS X tends to be the better choice. I prefer to run Linux and use native tools (like Gimp+Krita and Bitwig Studio over Photoshop and Ableton) or Wine, but not everyone is computer savvy enough to learn how to do some things with it.
Tristan Benoît both of the devices seen in the video are fucking PCs.. Just because Apple brands their product as Mac, it doesn't change what it is.. Pc = personal computer.. A BMW 545i is still a fucking car!

This video is like Wow! I can't afford a Mac and at least it boots faster. Why didn't you try a i7 retina display equivalent to the Y50? It's a shame you can't afford a Mac and pay for its quality (aluminum, retina display, full SSD not just cache SSD...) but at least compare for the same specs.

Yet if you want to develop for IOS you need their shit. That's why is a hackintosh the Best way. You buy something WORTH the money and can develop at the same time.
