@TarotMagpie Carlotydes is such a weird little deck, I nearly pass it on all the time but it always ends up hanging around and giving good readings! And Gentle Thrills is just wild haha.
I would argue that if it is a Romance genre book, then the whole point is that you know there will be a happily ever after and the relationship is the central plot - so knowing the trope going does not constitute spoilers b/c you know it's a Romance. But, if it's just a book with a romance subplot then the relationship probably represents something bigger or more symbolic in the narrative, so knowing the trope going in could definitely be spoilers. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.
@TarotMagpie I firmly agree with this take. I think in the instances I was thinking of, I wasn’t yet familiar with the roman-tasy genre and so it felt a bit spoiler-y because i didn't know it was the whole point, i forget that happily ever after is an option because thats not generally my wheelhouse.
Being late just means I catch up with you quicker as I’m always so behind myself, I end up seeing some late entries before others lol. Maybe it’s like that for others. 🥰 I get you though. I wanted in on this tag but feel I’m so late now 😂 That said, this was good fun. The lilifer tarot forever intrigues me, so I always love hearing about others experiences with this in particular. Sounds like you’ve had a good time 👌🏻🔥 I love the you described you and your slow burn as a power couple. Tickled me in the best way.
@cosmic.creeper that’s such a good point! I love when older tags come back around and I get to see them for the first time or catch up on new vrs. There’s no such thing as too late! Lilifer has been so good to me this year, I’m so glad we’ve had a proper chance to work together, it’s been a delight! Thank you so much for being here 💕
Ooh you almost make me regret moving the Carlotydes out of my collection! Gentle Thrills is so fun

@@SaplingTarot totally fair! I do love a straightforward happily-ever-after book because I like the predictability 😂
@TarotMagpie I definitely need to broaden my reading scope and try some, predictability sounds very soothing!
