This animated movie is one of my favorites! Fun fact Titan actually changed his name to tighten! Jonah Hill voice acted Hal.

A detail i cant take off once someone pointed out is that Roxxane does not have fear after being kinaped by megamind, but when Titan does it... she is scared
she knew who he was all along.
And there's a reason for that.
Megamind, for all his talk about being a villain and allat, is not a bad person at heart, and he wouldn't even ENTERTAIN the idea of harming innocents. He essentially sees being a villain as nothing more than a game, saying as much at one point.
Titan on the other hand, has clearly gone mad with power, is hateful to the very core, and literally only became a hero for purely selfish reasons rather than out of the good of his heart (and that's even assuming he HAS a heart). With that in mind, OF COURSE he wouldn't think twice about harming innocent citizens, up to and including even the woman he was simping for the whole time.

This movie is truly one of the best dreamworks movies. Definetly the Shrek movies, Puss in boots 1(i didn't see PiB2 yet) & Megamind(i didn't see the 2nd movie yet) are definetly the best movies by Dreamworks
The movie is clearly based on the template of Cyrano De Bergerac. Just thought I would mention that. It's no accident that her name is Roxanne.
This video was an excellent commentary on humanity as a whole, but it was your final comments on the way people have devolved their relationships with each other into shallow three month relationships, the ease with which people “forget” marital commitment(and thus the importance roles parents and children play in society) that was pure genius.

I'm a little perplexed by some of your takeaways lmao. Roxy was never attacted to "the most popular man", she specifically says there was never anything between her and Metroman, specifically saying he isn't her type. Hal wasn't the one who rearranged her display- he thinks his superhero name is TIGHTEN, not TITAN- he spells it as TIGHTEN into the city later in the film. Hal also didn't buy the flowers, he obviously stole them??

Roxanne isn’t attracted to Metroman. She is attracted to intelligence that why she is attracted to Bernard/Megamind.

The best type of people to date or marry are the ones that give, serve, and love. Too many people out there looking to receive out of a relationship, rather than give. Only the grace of Jesus can change a really selfish person like Hal into a selfless charitable person.

This is one of those self reflection moments: if you're 1:1 with that other person from your perspective, whats the determining factor that makes that person more suitable to date than you?
It may simply boil down to personal preference - that's not something you can control. It could also be your misplaced anger/jealousy/sone other personality trait has shown in other instances and that person picked up on it, so you invalidated yourself before the question ever came about. Getting mad over someone else's autonomy is an irrational response.
You can feel unrequited feelings, but you need to acknowledge that person made a choice and it wasnt you: move on.
Fixating on that person or who you dont have in your life will only serve to make you bitter and sad. Find someone who wants you, don't chase people who don't.

I watch this Movie when it came in DVD on 2011 and I rewatch this Movie so Many Times that any Other Film other than Norbit as Megamind might be my Favorite Film of All Time and I will Agree that Hal Steward/Titan/Tighten is the Best Twist Villain Dreamworks has ever written as is a Twist you wouldn’t see coming,is about how an Every Day Loser that has Anger and Selfish Tendencies gets God Like Power that you will think is Corruption but like Black Adam(NOT the 2022 Disaster Version) Hal was always a Bad Person hiding in a Shell of a Nobody that changed into a Indestructible Sadistic Monster that has many Red Flags from the Very Beginning,Titan is the Perfect Example of a “Nice Guy” or better known as Incel that when he said “Chicks don’t like Bouncing Houses the like Clowns” might hint at Superheroes as Metro Man is a Preformer as Well,I could go On and On but I put my Point.

Roxanne was NOT in awe of Metroman. She told Bernard that he really wasn't her "type". She was not into "muscles" and "looks". She liked intellectuals and "in touch with his feelings" Bernard.
I have a massive bone to pick with this video. Roxanne was NEVER romanticslly interested in MetroMan. Roxanne appreciates him, but she isnt attracted to muscles and brawn. Roxanne is Sapiosexual. i think what makes Hal more sinister is having a girls view on it. he’s not an innocent goofball, he’s an r/ nice guy… and roxanne wasn’t interesting in metro man romantically which showed she wasn’t interested in anything physical, but Hal assumed that all she wanted was a handsome guy, because that’s what nice guys think about women, they only want good looking guys that are kind of rude
