I like the button lock Shakari. It’s a great size now. I think I’m like you in that on most steels I prefer around a 600-800 grit finish. Just seems to last quite a long time with that bite. I still want a Pretatout. I love that and the Pelican so much.
Wayne’s Sharp World (TWO BRAND NEW CIVIVI…) heard in KnifeCenter vid that Civivi uses a 9cr + 10cr Damascus. Couldn’t find that KC vid, but Civivi claims 440Cish performance. Perhaps Kansept does too?
its possible i asked the companies directly a while back and they said a 9cr 440 mix which makes sense but civivi could be 10cr and 9cr i thought it was also the 440 but could be mistaken

To offset the price of the lockbar, they skimped on the clip? Kind of a slap in the face. I'd pay an extra $5-$10 for a different lock.
