Note about using Ninjabrainbot as I've seen some concern in the comments: If you're not confident about measuring pixel perfect like I showed in the video do not type 0.008 in your standard deviation. This is the most accurate but hardest way to use the calculator. If you are off by even 1 pixel you will get a bad reading and might not hit the stronghold. One important omission: Using Ninjabrain bot, DO THE CALIBRATION first. You can look at Ninjabrain's tutorial to see how. If you just set it to Rekrap's SD but you're not as accurate at reading eyes as he is, you'll get a bunch of confident 100% certainty results that are just wrong. And you'll be upset and you won't know why. It's because you basically told Ninbot to lie to you. On the other hand, if you don't measure eyes well but your calibration number is accurate, you might not get confident results at larger distance, but at least you won't be misled. You just pick one option and go, knowing you might miss and have to run the last hundred blocks or whatever in the overworld. Also related to that, Rekrap kind of suggested that when using Ninbot you could build your first portal in the nether wherever and just let the calculator take care of the rest. If your SD is high, this might not be a good idea, because you'll want to give yourself as good a chance at an accurate result as you can get, so you might want to take a few seconds to get into the ring before building your portal. But you can do whatever makes you happiest, just be aware of the issue if your SD is high. Another small thing, in the stronghold, Rekrap pointed out hidden rooms that generate off of 5-ways when the top left or right side is a blank indented 3x3, but the same exact thing applies when the bottom left or right side is a blank indented 3x3. In that case the corresponding upper side has a hidden room.

i just had a speedrun and i mined down for the stronghold at 5 and 4 and i fall into lava that flowing down from a cave but a saved me with water. A litle heart attack. But anyways thanks so much for this video and the 2 first parts it changed everything. Thanks a lot!!!
Rek I just started Speedrunning like an year ago and at that time this was like out of the question like the Nether part was not there and i had a lot of trouble getting used to the new tactics sooooo THANK YOU VERY MUCH i learned it all easily just a lil bit of trouble finding bastions as i have an office computer so i play on 16 chunks and it is rare that a bastion spawns in my rendered area.
16 chunks isn't unusual to play on, just so people know. Most good runs will have a bastion that close. I wouldn't say it's rare, exactly. Somewhere between 25 and 50%?
If you don’t detect a bastion within 16 chunks you can just press f3+f and see when it loads, if it’s too far just reset. If you find it, eray, it and turn down your rd shift+f3+f
Banger of a video, as usual, but maybe just a small correction: At around 1:20, when you mentioned adjusting the blind coords, you're actually increasing your z axis, although the graph displays it as the y coordinate. The graph relies on you reading it as a vertically held up piece of paper, making the y axis represent vertical displacement(up and down) while the x and z coords represent horizontal displacement(left/right or front/back) Hope you can clarify this but, otherwise, absolutely amazing work! Can't wait to see you beat the WR using telepathy
at 10:00 u go to 150 150 coords, but u also had the option of raising your x as you lower your Y, if your already on the circle, landing you in between the 8 memorised coordinates. it's better to just guess and hope you're somewhere near it, rather than spend time heading to somewher specific (didnt watch whole vid lol ignore me if mentioned), the only way to make that move more accurate is just memorising more coordinates but 150 and 220 is already good enough probably (also axis calculation is a thing but idk math lol)
Speedrunning journey so far: Forgot to get doors, forgot to get flint, mine about 50 gravel no flint, got to nether died to piglins, went wrong direction in bastions, goes to 1.16.1 to see stables bastion with a bad gap, and fell through the magma into the lava while trying to make a portal, so some can say things could be better.
