That raven was so cool!
@@justincrowder it was a cool experience!
Nice video. Stay safe on the road
Appreciate it! 🙌🏼
If you keep idling your pickup at night, it will plug the def system up derate your truck and cost thousands to fix. I ruined a Ford that way.
You should remove your emissions anyway! I did that and never looked back! Still pass dot inspection no problem! But Tavis why not just get a generator and run a heater or ac unit that way. That's what I do.
He's a religious man. He will not comment on illegal things 😂
Ram trucks you can set a high idle 1000-1200 rpm I think. It keeps the exhaust system hot enough for the system to clean properly. I’ve got 215000 on mine with lots of idling at job sites like that and no issues yet. Although it’s getting deleted if I have an emissions issue lol
You rolled up to Alaska without a auxiliary tank? I was wandering if anyone could!
I did. I’ve ran that road 12 times now so I know where the stops are. Definitely doable without an aux tank. I did buy Jerry cans tho just in case
I saw you on the Rich heading to North Pole empty. Looking sharp, hope all is well.
Thanks Hugh! Things are going good. Hope all is well with you too!
🐐🐐!
Ayo! 🫡
Hey Travis what model of 2500 is that truck. ?
Ram 2500 tradesman
@@truckertavis nice . You dispatch and find loads or you got a dispatcher ?
How long is your trailer
He's got a 35 foot trailer
And I'm wondering with that boat loaded what his weight was. Bc he had to be right there on the line of 26k. In fact I'm really shocked he wasn't over. Especially with 6 chains and binders on his trailer. Definitely looked like that load was over 10k
We got same setup except ur trailer 2 feet longer so. I'm guess u weigh in at 15500 unloaded at scales
35 foot
. What was ur weight sir. Lol
Get a new propane bottle

Doesn't everyone use truckstop?

Hey Tavis, did you have to join the fast program in order to truck across the border or do you just show your passport?
Love the content. God Bless
Thank you! And no I just got my business number and paid for a one time trip bond
@@truckertavis what do the trip bonds cost? is part 4 out yet? looked on your channel but didn't see it.
@@thehillbillyhermit7681 up front it cost $1,000 but I got $600 of it back when I got my second stamp. And no part 4. Decided not to do one. Only thing interesting on the way back was a bit more animals and a flat tire(cracked wheel)
@@truckertavis ah, ok. Thank you.
Get a new propane bottle
🤣 I did lol
Lmao 😂
Wouldn't a hotplate be a much more cost effective way of doing things. I spent 60 bucks on mine
