After checking lots of videos of girl DJ's (youtube suggestions ;P ), you're the first one that actually messes with the turntables and there's actually a sound change, meaning that you're actually playing something. All of the others, you can tell they're just play pretending. Great work!
Here's a huge lesson for me, at least: This set appeared on my RUclips feed, and my first thought was a feminist one, expecting the classic "unga unga man" joke, etc. But then I started watching the DJ's decisions with the worst preconceptions, thinking, "Why do we keep focusing on the body and not the music?" And here's the lovely lesson-Wow. I had so much fun listening and closely watching your moves on the deck. I learned a lot and noticed it's a real one! Not a "perfect" one. I loved getting to know your music, and thank you for inspiring me to turn on my mixer
