What people need to realise is, I resided in Bangalore for 14 years and moved back to Hyderabad last year. I never learnt Kannada. It is this warmth of Kannadigas that I consider myself as one. That is the precise reason why I avoid Chennai. Forcing some visitors to push your language agenda doesn't help anyone and rather creates a barrier. I'm happy to see Karnataka not falling to this upto now but also worried that it might catch on due to Congress politics.
