Paul McCartney started playing the horn and then the guitar then piano then the Bass, he bought his first Hofner bass guitar in Hamburg Germany in 1961.
I’m guessing Paul came up with that drum part during the hook. Very him - and Paul’s the one who suggested the swampy feel and bass hook. Lennon had come in with it sounding like a fast Chuck Berry song.
Overrated you mean,he`s literally the luckiest man in the entire fricking world history, making a career with being completely mediocore, and no he`s far from being a genius!
I was a freshman in high school when I remember this song on the radio. Amazing to think that we can remember the Beatles on the radio from the time they hit the airwaves in the early 60"s til their breakup shortly after this song came out. We were very fortunate to be there as they were introduced to Americans on the Ed Sullivan show. Which I can also remember watching that incredible night.
Talk about ending a group career on a high note, CT stands as an industry marvel in writing, arranging and production. And not one unnecessary note or beat. What genius.
i think everybody takes john’s vocals for granted, but he has a very special talent. he can sing raspy, normal, high, low, the list could go on. in conclusion, i love john.
Paul McCartney started playing the guitar when he was around fifteen and he's playing guitar on almost every Beatle album. That lead guitar Playing on come together is George Harrison that's not Paul McCartney.
@@Garry-vd1dg I am aware he played and played guitar, he literally wrote "Blackbird" by himself on an acoustic guitar... the video I commented on said Paul played the outro "solo" at the end, I'm assuming whoever made the video did their homework, but then again, who cares
I don’t think so. Usually he would have, but perhaps bc of some weird dynamic between Paul & John, John decided to sing his own backup. It wasn’t the typical Beatles sound, but it turned out kinda cool.
@@carlbaumeister3439it doesn't matter what you think , he actually did. It's true that normally Paul would do the high harmony and John the low ones, but this is not the only exception, it was like this also in Hey Bulldog and I Don't Want To Spoil the Party
@@PeterNash99 Not the Beatles Bible is the end-all authority, but here’s what it says: “Initially, Paul played the electric piano part, but John kind of looked over his shoulder and studied what he was playing. Paul might have been miffed, but I think he was more upset about not singing on the choruses - John did his own backing vocals.” Geoff Emerick Music Radar McCartney later expressed regret that he hadn’t sung the harmonies with Lennon on “Come Together.” “Even on Abbey Road we don’t do harmonies like we used to. This is not “how they built it up”. This is WHAT they used to build the song. The “how” was in their internal creativity… and that cannot be seen or heard.
Fun fact: Paul originally played keyboard on the song but since he and John were on weird terms, John re-recorded the keyboard part and played identical parts to the ones made by Paul.
and Paul did not play the guitar outro. That's absolutely George. He's playing the 1957 Gibson Les Paul Standard. You can hear the same guitar on Back in the USSR and Yer Blues.
Fantastic, to me it always sounds like a deep bass line . I didn’t know that was all Ringo on the drums, the bass is very subtle. With the low keys of guitar added this is just one of the best songs. Definitely done by one of the most popular bands of all time.
John and George harmonized the first guitar solo after the keyboard part and the outro was done completely by George. Look at the guitar work on Something and Old Brown Shoe, pre-bends were George’s thing around this time. It was clearly George playing the outro lines.
John's sotto voce "Shoot Me" is haunting. Given that we listened to everything-Beatles backwards & forwards looking for hidden meanings, I'd venture that Mark David Chapman took John's message literally. Makes me wonder if he'd still be alive if he hadn't put that in.
One of the most fun to play songs on any instrument Really helped me practice my pentatonics on guitar.. Check out Jonny Lang live performance of this song❤
paul as to be in the top 10 bassists of all time so amazing.

Simple but it takes immeasurable talent to bring it together.

Not just that, there's so many parts hate that had to be bounced because they didn't have the huge number of tracks available we have now

Ringo's genius really shines here! And Paul's too of course. And George's guitar work too of course, the icing on the cake.
Playing songs was a piece of cake for The Beatles
of course
Just the Beatles of course 😂
Couple that with John's vocals and lyrics and you get a banger of a song

What a Band !!!!
What they played,VOCALS... unbeatable!!
Come Together is a masterpiece, but then so are many of their other songs. Class act❤
THE GUITAR SOLO WAS ACTUALLY MADE BY THE BEATLES' LEAD GUITARIST GEORGE HARRISON!
Yeah this channel is full of fake informations like this one
That's what I was thinking!
Perfeita colocação 🇧🇷
They built every song like that, piece by piece and created classics.
I love the Beatles but that's Chuck Berry's song they owe him a check.
4 greats that come together to make a thing that is somehow greater than the sum of it's parts.
Genial LENNON ! En toda su esencia, y los acompañamientos estuvieron buenos. Esa batería de Ringo y George con su sonido mágico...
