I'm still relatively new to Goose, but I'm ready to call them the band of 2024. They remind me why I i fell in love with jam bands in the first place. I've heard and seen many greats, and Goose is delivering in a big way. Hoping for Michigan love soon.
If I had the chance to do it over as a recently retired drummer after drumming for 40 years, I'd strive to do what Cotter has the privilege of doing. Playing dual percussion with Jeff Arevalo in this very same song right here. Jammin pros. bros!!!
Peter, I bought you a Marvin the Martian beanie, but I forgot to bring it to CO, so I'm hoping to get it to you in ATL! I will find a way even if I have to slingshot it on stage LOL. Goose, these Colorado shows were special. Thank you as always!!!
Cotter's drumming is rough here. I listened to Rick and Peter's interview with Frasco about the drummer change. It is clear they wanted a different feel and not chops. I get the impression that Ben's playing didn't "groove" enough for them and they wanted something far simpler -- to also give Jeff more room as well. They acknowledged that this is going to take time. That is an understatement. I find most of these jams are very SCI circa 2001 - 2003, which I find far more boring than what they were doing just last year.
@@ctbojar I'll disagree. Relatively boring, the same beat, and far less precise. I think if you like a "groove" and to "dance" then Cotter is your type of drummer. I prefer my drummers in the Kris Myers mold....

🔥🔥🔥Trevor Bass🔥🔥🔥
I took a year of from these guys. Came back to find out they have improved quite a bit. Bass is nasty and the drums got way more creative.

New drummer is breaking through the plateau!!

Fiddlers sucks! I’m not sure how you play there considering how Goose kicked ass at Red Rocks the last 2 years?
It certainly does but had 2x the capacity of red rocks. $$$$$
@@charlesknox9645 Makes sense, plus RR is booked very far in advance.
I loved Fidders! Everyone I talked to had the best time.
We just saw BMFS there. Sound was excellent and the show rocked.
It is not bad if you are close to the stage. Sound is compromised on the lawn.
AI cristian jam band lol oso weak

Drums are way more creative and fun to listen to now. I think it was a major upgrade. But everyone has their own cup of tea I suppose.
