Proper death metal with variety in tempos and actual songwriting involved, and proper melodic lead guitar, who'da thunk it? Oh, and a live mix where you can actually hear the bass for once and appreciate the depth it adds to the guitars. I really dug this album back in the early 90's and played it a LOT. Not to mention it looked like these guys put on a great live show, too, not just standing there and windmilling away and not allowing themselves to have fun. I think I need another copy of this album, stat.

Me too dude. They used to run another show after for a while here in the UK called 'into the pit', which had the good stuff. Wish I still had my VHS copies of what I'd recorded, lot of gold on there.

Dude wish i seen these guys live. This is what i wish metal still was. Sweet riffs and good drums. Now its less good, i feel new metal is lame. Dislike slipknot and similar bands. These guys are better then slipknot in my opinion. However some will disagree. I like the guitars and his voice better personally. I like album false alot. Others are good as well.
