- On May 28, 2011 Anthony set out to break the 7 ball world record to the amazement of a captivated audience. This kind of excitement doesn't happen every day in the juggling industry which is why Anthony was compelled to go public with it.
Nice to see the audience is so intrigued.
stands on the spot, no moving around! And uses unforgiving solid balls instead of soft thud sacks! Gatto is still the champion!
Gatto is still the greatest juggler ever to perform still ranks number 1 in the world even after retiring
started at 2:40 and stopped at 14:20. That's 11 minutes and 40 seconds.

WOW!!! That is totally insane!!! I watched the whole video. It's just crazy as his arms have to be totally falling off even after just a few minutes. I've tried 3 balls just for a bit of a work out and it gets your heart going big time but 7 balls for THAT long is seriously just mind blowing. I caught about a 1000 for my own personal record but it would be interesting to see how many he caught in that video. WOW!! Nice work man.
He is pretty metronomic..so just count some seconds and work it out that way. I counted 21 seconds for 100 catches. 285 catches p/m. So I am gona say roughly 3333 catches😁

+Alex .Taylor as talented as Gatto is, I'm not sure he could beat his own personal best by a minute after a year of not juggling. I have a sneaking suspicion that between work and family he's not even juggling as a hobby anymore.

I don't know what is cooler about this video - watching the shirt get progressively darker as the run goes on, or the fact that the 1-year old is trying to upstage his dad...and succeeding!

Awesome video and lonnggg time no see! I thik was the Baltimore saw you last :) I invented juggling 6 balls remember? With the fishing line in between every tow balls :) I did that as a trick before 7 balls, Still never made it past 7! Worked on my handstand a lot must have been over 20-25 years since we met ! thnx for sharing so many videos.

If you a juggler you would understand that you practice a lot, do your thing. But some people does not care and they do not know how hard and important this is for you.

Maybe its the color.... i have seen him practise in reallife so often, he is using beanbags. I held them, they are so cuddly soft, you can put them between your fingers so you can easily hold 4 of them. i didnt just see him live / meet him once, but several times. Always he was using soft beanbags. Also, the color code is consistent with all of his videos.
The three kids in the front remind me of Mystery Science Theater 3000. If only they made witty comments during the run.

You were an inspiration to me growing up. I juggled several hours a day for about 9 years. Haven't in maybe 10 years now though. I like how your shirt slowly turned into a jack 'o lantern, lol. Are those guns just from juggling? I juggled the 3 lb heavy balls that dube used to carry for over an hour once without dropping, you'd definately get guns from those!....and blisters, lol. Do they drug test juggling events? I wonder if storoids could enhance juggling performance? J/K

@eclecticwhyzas Gatto juggles balls!! He uses MMX balls, which are a form of stage balls. Thomas DIetz also juggles MMX, Pavel Evsukevich uses stage balls, David Ferman, Steve Hogan, Andrew Ruiz all use Russians...

@juggler_ sonam Do you think you could juggle 5 balls longer than 2 minutes with enough practice, or does everyone have a limit that isn't realistically broken? I learned 4 balls in 1993, but never broke a minute although I came close. My best with 5 balls was 30 catches. I have two friends that could barely qualify 3 balls after years.
@@ts214121 COmes down to endurance at the end of everything. Everyone's body is different though, so where people's limits are depends on the individual - there really is no "average" time when people get fatigued when juggling 5 and above in this respect. If you really want to understand what I mean by this, check out a juggler by the name of Ofek Snir - his endurance is quite extraordinary.

I remember back in 1980 when Anthony would juggle in the back room of his father's store, which was located in the Chatham Mall in Ellicott City. I tried to impress him with my juggling, but when he showed me what he could do, I was completely blown away. I said to him "One day you're going to be in lights" I was correct.

I have watched the videos and I have talked with him personally. I've not seen him be rude once and really don't give a crap. It's far more rude for you to attack him on his own video. That is seriously lame. Are you the rude police? Since he is a better juggler than you are you suggesting you are more Christian than he is so that's ok? wrong, thomas dietz uses beanbags, and the brand he uses is very soft. i think he is using mr babache silicone-coated beanbags. but ive never seen him juggle stageballs. but you are right that gatto uses a kind of stageballs.
Anthony gatto never dismayed , all love we can cultivate, that spirit with this energy, the love of art is what preserves.
