I'm not only boycotting the 2024 Paris Olympics, but all French products also. I lived and worked for 10 years in France and have written to our French Ambassador to express my utter disgust at the opening ceremony's blasphemy and informing them of my boycott. I would recommend that we all write to the IOC and our local French Ambassador expressing our feelings on this matter.

Hi Mark. I too, have boycotted the game. I watched up to half of the presentation of the athletes and switched off. I just could not keep watching this horrible, obscene opening of the games.

I have enjoyed the Olympics since I was a girl in 1972 but this year I have not watched a single moment -even the opening ceremony. I couldn’t watch it live and expected to catch highlights when I could. By then the blasphemy outrage had appeared so I chose to boycott! Instead I’m trying to make reparations with visits to the Blessed Sacrament in honor of our precious Lord Jesus!
Love the Blessed Mother! Never, ever let go of her guiding hand that will lead us to Jesus. Pray as never before - especially the Rosary (daily) for her intentions. Love her!

I've also found over the past few years that when I've given a clergy member a difficult question regarding our church, most of them not every single person but most, just remain silent. I could bring up certain topics regarding this but I shouldn't in case it leads someone else to pass judgement.

Xavier’s video mentioned 1290 days. I believe days of tribulation from Daniel. If things start up in October then 1290 days later would be April 2028 which is an even year when the Miracle possibly comes.
Just to add a little comment. As you said, so many Christians have spoken against and condemning the opening ceremony of the Olympics. I have also seen some Muslims protesting and calling for boycotting the Olympics.

Mark, I have been practicing the virtue, of patience-awaiting your response. I am happy to hear, you were on, what sounds like the perfect vacation-deservedly! I am sorry, you had to return, to such a debacle of circumstance. I have many things too share; however I feel, the most important thing, I would like to highlight-is God’s response, wrapping Paris France, in complete darkness, with the only light on the Horizon, coming from
Sacre Coeur Basilica, Catholic Church dedicated to The Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ-and having continuous Perpetual Adoration 24/7 for 135 years. As a devout Catholic woman, I know the brightly lit Catholic Basilica, was an act of God’s Divine Mystery. And I remain in awe, of Our Lord’s symbolic response!
With that said, I went to Perpetual Adoration, as I always do, on Tuesdays (along with daily mass), and I got to thinking, as I was in prayer and how important Perpetual Adoration is, especially in today’s Topsy-Turvey world. I encourage ALL Catholics to spend quality time with Our Lord Jesus Christ. And if, for any reason your church does not offer Perpetual Adoration-gather a group and initiate it, even if for only a couple of hours a week. Every second with Jesus is worth it!
