Acrylic April Painting Challenge begins April 1st 2020- no joke
30 Days, 30 Powerful Little Paintings
We hope that Every April, artists from all over the world take on the Acrylic all April painting challenge by doing one small acrylic painting every day for the entire month.
I am creating the #AcrylicApril challenge as a way to introduce painters to the gifts of daily painting with Acrylic.This monthly challenge will help every acrylic artist unlock the true potential of the acrylic medium and their art own voice.
Anyone can do Acrylic April,
Just grab your paint, your brush and hit the studio( even if it’s your kitchen Table).
#AcrylicApril rules:
1) Make a painting on a surface 12x12 or smaller. ( sorry for the confusion)
2) Share it online
3) Hashtag it with #AcrylicApril and #AcrylicApril2020 #ItsNoJokeAcrylicApril and be sure to add the day of the challenge, or word prompt, etc
4) Repeat Daily from April 1 ( no fooling) to April 30th
How to do the Challenge
Do your best to paint daily. Some Days may be artwork you are excited about some days you may scribble out an abstract but under no circumstances should your be hard on yourself. If you make 30 little paintings you are a winner. If you make less than 30 you are a winner. Do your best

My son studied this when I painted it. He loves how there's so much fluff! I put this in a corner of my dining room, with three other paintings of the same size (2 on each side of a Corner china cabinet). This, the Robin's egg nest, the fluffy bunny, and the rooster, were my Spring collection. I've learned so much from you. Thank you!

I want to do them ALL 30 but cant go out to buy canvas or paint! Wish you had like a kit of the canvas..or maybe canvas and paint you will use for the 30 days or the ones you used the most. Make it easier to order and have it delivered to our home.
Leslie Patron for practice you can use cardboard from boxes and put gesso on it. Not professional but better than nothing.
We are working hard on getting one together in partnership with Savior Fair. they have given me a test kit and I think it will work and it will be delivered stay tuned for more info

I grew up on a farm, and every spring my mother ordered baby chicks through the mail. I don't recall any of them that had a Gonzo beak. Lol.

I wish i had materials
When i was 9 i saw my aunt painting but when she goes by for a rest i took her painting materials and started painting at what she was painting at she was painting a landscape and i draw a tree where she was impressed and inspired me to paint she didnt remove it and said this is perfect and after that she gave me some materials but i ran out were not that rich to buy more so yeah....
