The young Bruce Lee (Ho Tsung-Tao AKA Bruce Li) has studied the philosophy and art of kung fu since boyhood, but his girlfriend says that he lives in a world of his own and all he thinks of is fighting. She begs him to change his ways, yet after a humiliating defeat Bruce vows that it will never happen again, and while witnessing street thugs preying on innocent people, he is driven to defend them. Things appear to be no better when Bruce comes to the United States to begin teaching, and is under constant attack by rival martial artists, but all the while his unorthodox style is beginning to catch on. Finally he becomes an international sensation as a movie star with a wife, kids, money, and everything he's always wanted - who then must fight for both his life and his reputation back home in Hong Kong.

MANNNN, I grew up with this movie! My uncle bought it for me as part of a Bruce Lee/Le/Li box set when I was little. I found out late last night that that Uncle had just passed away... I revisited this in his honor and realized that much of who I am as a martial artist was planted when I watched this film almost 30 years ago... Thanks for posting this. I wasn't sure if I'd be able to find it!

I hope one day, someone can collect all the Bruce Lee (李小龙) movies (including the Bruce Lee clones like 何宗道, 黄建龙, ,陈国坤) compile them into a RUclips channel. I think they bring honour to Bruce Lee's memory and on balance, provide a positive contribution to the Bruce Lee awareness. Some people criticise them unfairly. Afterall, is there a saying that "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery"

Got Siu Bo, the fat master at the begin of the movie, was an hell of a character actor appeared also in masterpieces like Dragon Inn. He made 321 films and died in 2000, son of another kung-fu films actor, Ko Hsiang Ting, who died much more older than his son.

That's what happened in real life!!! In the new Bruce Lee biopic I hope they use the funeral at the end and before that film the scene of The day Bruce Lee died.... what really happened that day from him working out in the morning to getting effed up by sundown!!!!
