I feel rhis has a little more gain than an sd1 and the low end knob can grt ya almost fuzzy versus a pure eq boost and it will take up less board space. But if you already have the other stuff i very you can get very close

@@totalbender420 the sd1 section is pretty similar, maybe a tad hotter but not quite as hot as say the plumes
