Thanks for the idea! I also found out that the striker 4 boat transducer with the 4 pin also plugs into the striker 7 and works the same for ice fishing.
good video... I think I will drill a hole through the vertical pipe and the horizontal and just put a bolt through with a wing nut. then the pole will easily rotate for easy transport, and might self level a little, or be easy to adjust the angle and tighten the wing nut. also less parts and cheaper.... but whatever works.
