I was heartbroken when Hexen left. Pavulon is a very good drummer but i just loved Hexens vicious ideas in cymbalwork and his relentless blastbeats. You, Sir, bring all that back with even more sense for uneven metrics here and there. Thank you very very much - i am excited for Rugia!

I’d say I should never be a part of that band in the first place - now I see that. Just a waste of the guys’ time pulling the band down from the very beginning. Daniel fits perfectly.

Polecasz przerzucić sie na tą technikę rąk, którą grasz przy blaście (nie wiem czy na ridzie i tomach te szybkie też nią grasz bo nie mogę rozpoznać jakoś)? Przy takim fakcie, że gram już inną techniką od wielu lat, ale widzę że daje większe możliwości prędkości no i fajnie wygląda jak tak pałeczka podskakuje w dłoni. Ty od zawsze grasz tą techniką czy w pewnym momencie udało Ci się przestawić na nią? Bo nie wiem czy jest możliwa zmiana nawyku po około 10 latach gry.

Daniel, after all the praising i gave you, i have one more thing i wanted to briefly talk to you about :D
Not to be disrespectful or anything, but do you also think that - after listening to the album - your cymbals should have been somewhat more distinguishable from one another in the mix?
For me it sounds kind of "Ok, we have the Hihat here, the Ride there, and well, here`s the rest." Small disappointment in the otherwise great Album for me. How do you think about it? And what is your approach in the choice of cymbals in the first place?

All I can say is that I'm not full satisfied about the cymbal sound on the album. Actually it was a big struggle for everyone. I feel a insufficiency about it. I hope it will be better with the next album. Cymbals which I use are highlighting my character behind the drums. It's always very personal to me about choosing them. Choosing cymbals during session didn't go as I thought it should be. Next time I have to be more consistent about it. So that's basically all about cymbal sound this time ;) I'm glad you've pointed it because that's exactly my thoughts too.
