Because even at max pity you only get a 20% of getting a mythic trait (its not guarenteed). So, if you get a legendary at 100 pity your pity will just get halved to 50.

You can do it bro, just level up your stand less and put everything on damage on your stats, for the slayer bosses if you wanna make it easier just use an easier spec to grind the exp, and then when its close to finishing the exp, switch back to standless and get the remaining exp to spawn the slayer boss, hope this helps
