And when we tried pointing out to him that we only have him for 3 50 minute classes a week and our text books, that we go by the textbooks, his response was “Well, I prefer it MY way.” I swear, I screamed into my lap with my hands over my head while others moaned. And in the final test, someone pointed out that one type of question that had made up 15% of the course was 40% off the test, my friends had to take the chair out of my hands because I think I was ready to chair shot the prick.
I've been through that too. We had this guy that literally just graduated with a PhD in Mathematics, and he was teaching us advanced Calculus with the assumption that everyone "automatically knew". God we all wanted to punch that guy in the throat.

As a teacher, I agree with the student here. This is not a case where this needs to happen. We don't want parents calling saying we unfair with the kids. School ended last week, butg these past two days i have been having to send emails and take screenshots and other stuff just to show why a student did not pass my class. Basically, he did not do his work, and he told his dad he did, now dad called the school asking why failing.
"Show me your work" was an integral factor that butchered my grades, mental health, and interest in math. Doesn't matter if i'm the only one to get the answer correct, I must have cheated.
