I left a good church in Washington State to find another good one in NE Oklahoma because I could not continue to afford living in the PNW. They are there and you do not necessarily need to go as far as I did. I also needed to be closer to family. Actually between both sides of my family.
You're never going to find a church that's exactly what you would want it to be. I disagree with the other commenter. You don't need to run. Its not a salvation issue. They believe in the message of Jesus Christ! Everyone is trying to interpret prophecy with accuracy. And yet, they teach with all the confidence but even they don't know if it's right yet. We're all trying to make it. We must not be divided on these sorts of things. Many will die before any of these things take place anyway. Rapture or not... What would it matter to them? My parents taught me- be ready at all times. That's what men need to be preaching about!!!! Get ready! Stay Ready! 💜

If what you're being taught from the pulpit isn't sound doctrine, then you cannot grow as a Christian. As I type this, we're coming up to the end of "pride month" and about half of the churches in my town are flying so-called "pride flags" and celebrating lgbtq lifestyles that are expressly forbidden in Scripture. My mother in law attends a "new age" church that incorporates actual witchcraft into their supposed Christian services and teaches heresies from the Apocrypha like the falsehood of Lilith being Adam's first wife and Jesus marrying Mary Magdalene and having children with her. What you hear in church is at least half as important as what you believe, because what you hear from the pulpit will shape and influence your faith and how you approach God on His throne. It is, therefore, immensely important to find a church home that has sound doctrine that is Biblically based.
I read a couple comments here and I'm concerned that Voddie has been taken out of context. Just because a church doesn't believe in postribulational rapture doesnt make them any less Christian than Voddie. Does it not say in scripture that for now we know in part but will know in full when we see our messiah in heaven. If they believe that Jesus was the son of God, died on the Cross to pay the ultimate price for our sin, that we are one body in Christ and that through his holy spirit working in us, we grow continuouly in righteousness, who can say they are not Christian? Switching churches isn't necessarily a problem but be careful not to switch over petty issues.
It's not that I dislike fellowshipping with other Christians, and it's not that I don't like going to church, the issue is finding a church that has good Biblically based teachings and doctrine, and finding groups of believers who aren't hypocrites and liars about their faith. Half the churches in my town I avoid because they openly advertise their heresies like supporting pride month or are "new age" churches that incorporate actual witchcraft into their "Christian" services, and most of the other half are cultists like Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormon. That's why I turn to channels like this to feed my spirit - I'm not willing to be taught false doctrines by heretics just so I can say I sat in a building with other people. Besides, fellowship and church doesn't need a building, "where two or three are gathered in My name, there I will be in the midst of them." I can fellowship with other true believers anywhere and anytime.
I believe time will tell. I don't believe any man has all the answers. They just think they do. Lol. I've heard convincing, biblically backed arguments on both sides.

I apologize for my previous comment. I'm going to assume that there's another explanation here for why you act like when people say they don't see color, that they mean that literally. I feel like I am torn in this situation, where I either have to assume that you're lying because you know, which would put into question your character and possibly your faith, or that you're stupid because you don't know, which would put into question your cognitive faculties and qualifications to be a trusted theological speaker and teacher. I don't want to assume either of these things, but it's as if one of them has to be true, because there appears to be no other explanation. Assuming the worst is hard to avoid when you don't know which is worse. I'm just going to give you the benefit of the doubt that there's some third explanation that I'm not aware of.
