@@SatyaNeer Hi Satya, I have one question. Hope you can help me with it. I have Kent RO that stopped working few days ago. After the water started flowing from Solenoid Valve, I noticed that the pump is leaking. There are many videos suggesting that the pump head can be replaced, but unfortunately on one sales them in market. All technicians suggested to replace pump - common practice to earn money.
Anyways, my apartment is on 5th floor in a 11 floor building, and water pressure is sufficient. I by-passed the pump and RO is working without pump. Would you suggest that this approach is Ok, or will it impact the RO (filters etc.) in the longer run? I guess the only impact right now is that the tank fills a bit slower.

1.The same PUMPHEAD can be replaced.
2. New Pumps are also not very costly now a days.
3. Normally 60-70 PSI working pressure is required for membrane.
4. You can check incoming pressure with pressure gauge available in market for liquid application

@@cartoonista2019 Please check power supply is working or not, sometimes power supply keeps doing on-off due to Malfunction.
Solenoid valves usually work or are stepped completely, this problem related to power supply I think.

Very nicely explained. It would b better if actual working shown by giving supply. Also include voltage / current capacity of solenoid. Is it is possible to REWIND d pump of Kent ( Primo ) brand RO Filter. Mechanic has replaced the complete motor .
@@sureshkolekar4108 Sir there are always scope left for improvements. Winding is not feasible but the pump head can be changed if available!

After cleaning SV can we check it by giving DC supply of voltage ? How much voltage does SV have ? If , it is of 12 V then , then , can we check it's coil and piston by giving voltage of 8 battery cells of 1.5 volt each ?

1. Depending on Solenoid Valve if it is DC operated or AC operated you can supply power accordingly.
2. Normally all manufacturers mention supply details on SV that either it's DC or AC and their operating voltage.
3. You can make battery arrangements also to make desired power that meet particular requirements of power.

I purchased Acqua guard some 8 years ago . Used it for some 25 days and stopped using it after that . But , after some 1 year , I started it . But , it didn't dispensed water even after a beep sound .
I called technician . He checked it , opened SV , cleared membrane but , it didn't work . He said that , he will have to carry unit with him to get checked at his home and if there is a problem in PCB it will need repairing by technician . Estimated cost he gave , was about Rs 2000 to 2300 .
I denied bcoz I hadn't use it even for a month after purchase .
But , after four or five days I started my Aqua guard to check , if it is working or not . At my surprise , it is dispensing water well .
Is that OK ? Or not ?
Can I start using it again ?

Sir if water is coming out then keep using, after all the water is coming from filters. Just check if the system is running on and off properly and if needed just replace the filter cartridge as it is recommended to change once in a year.

I checked it some 4 to 5 times .
It works well . When I power it ON Red light starts after some 15 seconds orange light starts and after some 35 to 40 seconds , green light starts and water is dispensed after a beep sound . Is it OK ?

This solenoid valve is not working frequently because more water pressure, so if I remove this Sv and turn on my tap manually before switching on purifier. Is it ok?

Mera uv model SV hai ( not RO) 24V ka
Heating issue hai usme aur pani flow bhi thik se nhi ho rha.
Aur jitna ho rha hai woh warm water milta hai.
Please check for any blockage and clean, if not solved then replace.

Yes Sure, Please check and tell me the position of the SV in the filter, means sequence of filters and SV
@@SatyaNeer there are only one line filter before SOV and all arrangement after SOV. There is no any other SOV. Is there any sequence of 2 hole which is present in diaphram?.

Hello Sir,
Follow steps for troubleshooting
1. By pass pre filters and connect input water direct into Solenoid Valve
2. From the Solenoid Valve connect to the water Booster pump.
3. From Booster Pump give connection to the Membrane.
Now check if water is coming or not.
A. If water is coming then sediment carbon filters are faulty, replace them.
B. If water not coming then remove solenoid Valve and try directly with booster pump, check if water came then ok otherwise pump or membrane or both may be damage.

Solenoid Valve is an electrical driven device that is used to turn on and off water supply in the system.
Using same valve but there is leakage when valve at off condition i have also tried after cleaning it but still it is leaking water .. kindly help its my fyp and it is not working

@@SatyaNeer I have two solenoids of 12v, the first with no pressure and the second has a 0.02-0.8Mpa. both of them pass the water with no flow just some drops. and sometimes the first one passes the water without giving it a voltage.
now, I don't know if the solenoid always needs outside pressure or mine is broken??
@@radiamoon2395 Hello, If possible open your product and check piston mechanism it may be dirty or some deposits may be there inside the piston. If electric coil is working all problem should be solved by cleaning only.
