They DO NOT get enough kudos for their songs! AMAZING!!! Reminds of when I moved from Jamaica to Canada as a little kid and seeing these guys on tv for the first time. I still get that feeling hearing this!!! People used to be afraid to let others know they like KISS. I wanted the world to know! Used to be teased as I grew up but didn't care.
I remember the first time I ever heard their album was back in 1978 as their Live album. A friend of mine from school let me borrowed it and I played it on my first time record player which I gotten on Christmas, and heard Peter Criss do a drum solo and sounded good.
LoI. It took me over 40 years to figure out the meaning of the lyrics. Now I heared about Cynthia and her contribution to the lyrics. I knew that she did Jimmy's tool but it never crossed my mind that she was immortalized in this song. Saw Kiss live at the Mosters of Rock in Schweinfurt 1986 and passed Gene and Paul at arm length backstage.
Gene tries to play off his skill and musicianship- he's really the task master and keeps everyone in check musically, not to mention his bass playing is phenomenal, tasty and always inventive. Very underrated as a musician. Wish they still had the outtakes from Unplugged on here
After 50 years it seems i mutate to a Kiss Fan. Very solid Rock ‘n’ Roll, the big show scaled down for a small audience, which is highest professional in my opinion. 👉👍👈
Ok. This is a pre-show 'rehearsal' in front of a dozen fans. Not the actual show. Most live bands will 'rehearse' in the hours leading up to their "show". This is just one of those instances. That's all.
Yeah but it’s from my grandsons tour of my garage. We were killing it in merch till I got a cease and desist from theyre lawyers than the lawsuit. Now he owes them his first born male son.
If they had stuck lower range vocal songs they wouldn't need the backing tracks Paul has to use these days. Gene doesn't news the range for his songs that Paul does
Probably an unpopular opinion, but when I was listening to this and closed my eyes, I could have been listening to the Grateful Dead. Which isn't a slander, I'm a huge Dead Head. But it's like uncanny, kind of sound they were getting from that stripped down set up. The way that nobody's vocal sounded really good, but when you combine them they sounded great, that's a spot on similarity.
@GuitarGeek72 Kiss got famous not just because of their clever innovative looks but also because they rocked out like nobody at the time and had massive stage presence. Plus Paul had a great voice, Ace is a great guitarist, Gene is a solid bassist with a fun stage persona, and Peter Criss got the job done with his consistent drumming and occasional jungle rhythms. They wrote and played fun and catchy straightforward songs too. People are too hard on them.
When there are old songs that rarely if ever got played in concert, it would be easy to forget. I mean, they recorded around 200 songs. Besides, Gene and Paul are senior citizens now.
@@willhorting5317 your the guy who tried to pull the senior citizen card as an excuse for not knowing songs that they 'supposedly' recorded.* 200 songs and Plaster Caster is the only one they practiced
Eric Singer's vocals are on point
A classic! Anything from the 70s rocks!!

TOTALLY agree!!! It's the songs all along, NOT the makeup or show. In many ways the makeup held them back commercially
Eric’s skills on the drums and vocal always impress me. A real musician 💚
Indeed 🙂
This was always one of my favorite Love Gun songs. I wish they did it live for the shows I was at.

yesterday saw KISS at the GORGE AMPHITHEATER WA! great show!
sept 18 2021! love these guys!
these guys have so many songs that simply rock. I mean really they go hard for 2 hours still. crazy.
Say what you want but they love to play and sing and that's what matters.
Eric Singer looks mostly bored? :(
Plaster Caster is a classic "naughty" song you hoped your parents didn't understand!
Love it, this song and Gene deflowered me at an early early age,,,,Thanks Gene.
1:25 Gene imitating Eric Singer I CAN'T 🤣🤣
Love you Paul ❤️
This was so cool to watch.....thanks for posting!

Once they got into this song it sounded good.loved this song even as a kid.
Asa kid I had no idea what this song was about. BUT THEN COMES THE DAY I SEE A TV DOCUMENTARY ABOUT PLASTER CASTER
KISS rehearse? Who knew? Actually they sound damn good. They're survivors!

It’s good to see that they still have it after all these years.
This is five years ago before Paul started lip syncing you noob. I guess you think that counts as still having it?

It’s not a rehearsal you noob it’s a meet and greet fan show. You filmed it and think it’s a rehearsal? Wtf
Never thought I'd see the day Eric Singer plays a pearl roadshow kit.

Ten years before Iron Maiden? 😃 Maiden were formed in 75, Kiss in 73.
It’s Gene, you know how it is….
And he called Iron Maiden "bitch". Gene, you guys aren't even close to Iron Maiden in terms of talent or history.
Iron Maiden !!!
Love you kizz

The Miracle of Modern Face Lifts! Congratulations to their Plastic Surgeons

Beautiful beautiful !!!
Iron Maiden were founded 1975, thats two years after Kiss, not fucking ten!
Gene could find a way to tell you he was around before led Zeppelin
Great fucking band...
Can I actually comment on this without having to pay?
lmao
Nope
I ♥️ you
GR as in Grand Rapids or... ?
Yes.
Off topic question: anybody knows what kind of fans are those on the floor in front of Paul Stanley?
Those are not fans.

See the Lick It Up video on my channel... He says they don't use backing vocals. I believe it.

Underrated song
Tommy had to jump in and show Paul the correct way to play Getaway.

there funny i can't stop laughing 🤣😂😂🤣😂
Where are they playing ? A town Hall?
I really felt it when the bass went "G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G# G#"
Those lyrics are funny, stupid, dirty...downright fun! That's Kiss for ya. 😂
Ironically, Gene never "sat"...err, um, "posed"...whatever, for Cynthia Plaster Caster or any of the others in that circle of groupies.
When they were still friends. 🤘

They are going to be big someday

I see they are still mad at Maiden for blowing KISS out of the stage when they made the mistake of choosing Maiden as opening band in the early 80's 😂

Funny Gene plays a bit of “room service” at 0:45
Please gene....take that death skunk out of your head...
Paul and Gene don’t even look at each other, it’s like they are past being friends.
What do you expect? Gene is an asshole , they remained together for busisnes but you can tell Simmons isn't an easy person to deal with.

Eric Singer

Except for the lyrics it's really beatleish.
Well they used to say that the Beatles were an influence.😎
