- Tencent just revealed a new mobile game featuring a group of Idols getting into virtual fights. Looking at the combat in the trailer I guess you can expect a turn-based game with flashy attack animations, there is also time travel and many Vtubers collab already (look at the ending credits).

😂For all people feel confused, those characters in the game are all real vtuber in China.
The intro was pretty good in terms of characterization and in film terms in general. Each character was pretty unique distinct personality, nice transitions, everything pretty good... But man, I really hope that the fight, which looks turn based, actually plays the way we see here, because that was actually unexpected and great. Loved the dynamic camera and how, if it plays how it looks, incorporates the character swapping and all the stuff mobile games tend to do.
I would give it a try if it is actually like this.
I really doubt anything in the game will be like shown... it will probably just be like any other idol game, with combat like star rail meets baiten kiatos

@@notificationguys5128 that depends on where you draw the line on where the end point is. some story arcs are self contained enough to stand enough on their own despite still being in an ongoing one, because a series will inevitably evolve over time. you could say the same for long running fiction in other media still being created for 10 plus years already with no end in sight because they are still successful.

i dont like chibi style but Princess connect is the only exception to me because their Chibi looks actually good
