I'm a pure generator 4/6. I love what you said about if you're not ready you don't want it 🤣 I feel that resonates with me because I recall myself wanting things but being afraid to even engage in it. So now I know when I have that sure like feeling or that kinda careless energy of "I'm going to get it idc" with a passion behind it that's when it's best for me. I love being in that energy.
This is an amazing video! Soooo true about blowing up your business before you’re ready. I can confirm it is not a good idea! My business went too fast for me before my foundations were built, and it was a struggle. I am just now able to catch my breath and step back to build the infrastructures necessary to support that success. It’s been AMAZING! Difficult to step back and surrender but worth it 🤍

Too much messaging out there encourages us to go fast fast fast all the time as if that fast were inherently better. The over night success syndrome, when it’s not necessarily better at all! Human Design teaches us to slow down just a bit, be discerning, listen in to what our inner guidance has to say, and take action only when the time is right. I felt like a tortured artist. I love expressing myself but nothing ever felt good enough or big enough. I started my biz full time last year and so many times wanted to quit because I thought I needed overnight success and was burning myself out. I’m an emotional generator. My journey toward healing began right before discovering human design and I had already started taking steps. I took a pause on my business and started seeking clarity and peace and shifted my focus to healing core wounds via meditation. I have been cleaning my house and creating a space for the work I want to do and in a certain capacity. Right now I still feel like my sacral response is murky so I’m working on tuning in better to that and figuring out what it feels like. I have made immense progress by beginning to honor my authority in the best way I can with the knowledge and wisdom I have now, and working on expanding it. I am a little stuck and something still feels “off” so I’m remaining patient, trying to stay in surrender while actively working on reflection and healing. Human design is the best system I’ve found and I love the work you’re doing!

Saturn conjuncting my Midheaven in astrology means building a firm foundation in my career first. But….my strategy is “WAIT to respond.” Shouldn’t I be waiting instead of influencing right away? The gate ruling my personality is 46, which means being in the right place at the right time with the right attitude (serendipity, synchronicity). I have been having lots of synchronous stuff happening in my life recently this year, likely because my mom was diagnosed with life-threatening cancer. The universe is telling me that things will be ok for me. Looks like I just need to be especially aware of synchronous events and respond to those as they come up. I hope this happens when it comes to career because I’m unemployed and directionless right now. Good news is that I’m suing my last job and will win a ton of money next year. Really looking forward to that so I reach stability.

This has to be the most insightful video I’ve EVER watched on RESPONDING. Thank you for this! I’m still a bit confused when it comes to connecting with people online. For example: if I feel naturally drawn/led to reach out to someone online to bridge a connection or collab with them because I feel a magnetic pull toward them, is that me initiating or is that me responding? How can we tell the difference? Or is responding truly something that can only be done within close proximity, like within our reach? It feels less like initiating when in a mutual setting versus messaging someone randomly.

But after meeting human design people who told me I'm doing it wrong, I started doubting myself because I thought I was initiating, and since I found HD it's all just gotten so difficult. This helps me know that I can respond in powerful ways that may look like initiating. I have an Open Head, Open Ajna and Throat. I find it interesting that my gates to my head are all open too. I've noticed that I am more susceptible to claircognizable (clear knowing). Just a few days ago, I was thinking of an old acquaintance who I lose her number and contact on social media (so no way for a lead). I was watching something entirely different, and suddenly the name of the person popped into my brain. I think it would be interesting to see how psychic abilities or clair-abilities work with Human Design and open areas in our charts.
Hi Elena! Human Design has a lot to say about many forms of intuition including inner knowing which comes through the Knowing Circuit. That circuitry is also auditory and clairaudience is common. I have a lot of that myself. My experience with openness is that one can cultivate a relationship with those energies, they won’t be sustainable since it’s not defined. But you can absolutely develop a relationship with those energies through practice and intention. I only have one gate defined in the Sensing circuit, for example, yet I am very embodied and sensual and right brained too. I had to cultivate those qualities but now I have them available whenever I want I experience them. Have you cultivated your ability with your inner knowing?
Yes, generative questions are open-ended and you do not try to answer them. Instead you WONDER and then pay attention to what shows up in your outer reality. Then you will have things to respond to. Make sense?
I feel like this takes us out of the now moment .. our minds are always wondering and saying what if hahaha, that's part of the not self mind trying to control ( at least for me) being content in the now and allowing life is key, not constantly keeping my mind going about the future " what if" or things that may never happen.. and why would source / universe not know what to bring me to respond to?? I'm not in control and like Ra says it is no choice... so we are to be content in the now and respond to what's in the moment.. I love human design because it takes me out of the stress of the future and trying to plan and control. This sounds like a generator who really can't stand being content in the now and waiting and wants to be a manifestor 🥴😭🤔
I look at the questions as an opportunity to prepare for that which is desired almost like “inspired action” or “acting as if”. Being content is essentially surrendering to the present and detaching from the outcome while trusting that Source knows what’s best for you, from the timing of you receiving your desire to whether or not you receive your version of the desire at all! Lol That said, I think you can ask the questions and respond from a surrendered space, but this might be for more advanced generators.
Omg Maggie i am so happy your video came on my timeline.. i was a little confused as my head and ajna are both defined and i have the 64/47 and 63/4.. i get so many ideas they just come to me and i was just wondering when can i commit my energy to something and make sure i can bring to the table for others as both these bridges are for helping others not myself as i will get confused
Ask your Sacral. It will help you get out of your head with all those ideas and in connection with your body wisdom and inner guidance. Hope that helps?

I have the right angle cross of penetration which is all about initiating and new beginning, but I'm a manifesting generator so I'm not supposed to initiate. Very confusing and I do feel stuck.
You're pointing to one of the aspects of creative tension that you have in your chart. Everyone has creative tension in their charts. The invitation is to see how these aspects compliment and activate each other rather than seeing them as in conflict or contradictory. Also all Generators can initiate AFTER they enter into something via response. It's not that you can't ever initiate, but it's about when and under which circumstances.

Hi Elena! Human Design has a lot to say about many forms of intuition including inner knowing which comes through the Knowing Circuit. That circuitry is also auditory and clairaudience is common. I have a lot of that myself. My experience with openness is that one can cultivate a relationship with those energies, they won’t be sustainable since it’s not defined. But you can absolutely develop a relationship with those energies through practice and intention. I only have one gate defined in the Sensing circuit, for example, yet I am very embodied and sensual and right brained too. I had to cultivate those qualities but now I have them available whenever I want I experience them. Have you cultivated your ability with your inner knowing?

Yes, generative questions are open-ended and you do not try to answer them. Instead you WONDER and then pay attention to what shows up in your outer reality. Then you will have things to respond to. Make sense?

I feel like this takes us out of the now moment .. our minds are always wondering and saying what if hahaha, that's part of the not self mind trying to control ( at least for me) being content in the now and allowing life is key, not constantly keeping my mind going about the future " what if" or things that may never happen.. and why would source / universe not know what to bring me to respond to?? I'm not in control and like Ra says it is no choice... so we are to be content in the now and respond to what's in the moment.. I love human design because it takes me out of the stress of the future and trying to plan and control. This sounds like a generator who really can't stand being content in the now and waiting and wants to be a manifestor 🥴😭🤔
I look at the questions as an opportunity to prepare for that which is desired almost like “inspired action” or “acting as if”. Being content is essentially surrendering to the present and detaching from the outcome while trusting that Source knows what’s best for you, from the timing of you receiving your desire to whether or not you receive your version of the desire at all! Lol That said, I think you can ask the questions and respond from a surrendered space, but this might be for more advanced generators.
Omg Maggie i am so happy your video came on my timeline.. i was a little confused as my head and ajna are both defined and i have the 64/47 and 63/4.. i get so many ideas they just come to me and i was just wondering when can i commit my energy to something and make sure i can bring to the table for others as both these bridges are for helping others not myself as i will get confused
Ask your Sacral. It will help you get out of your head with all those ideas and in connection with your body wisdom and inner guidance. Hope that helps?

The common problem I have is when I turn to my Sacral I don't really know if the answer I get is my Sacral or just my limiting beliefs with my stomach reacting to those believes.. I cannot seem to find a huge difference in between those two.. any tips Maggie?

I have the right angle cross of penetration which is all about initiating and new beginning, but I'm a manifesting generator so I'm not supposed to initiate. Very confusing and I do feel stuck.
You're pointing to one of the aspects of creative tension that you have in your chart. Everyone has creative tension in their charts. The invitation is to see how these aspects compliment and activate each other rather than seeing them as in conflict or contradictory. Also all Generators can initiate AFTER they enter into something via response. It's not that you can't ever initiate, but it's about when and under which circumstances.
