I never comment on anything on youtube. But this video really deserves it :) Having played around a lot with Powershell and WPF on my own I was always wondering if there is a way to include professional themes for people who are not crazy enough to do that on their own. From the code examples there is also a lot of other key takeaways you can get (I for example was always wondering how to distribute the files / create a folder structure, how it needs to be referenced in the code then as well as how to load the respective assemblies etc. when you use powershell for it). Long story short: Thanks a lot for this content, you are my personal hero. Now I am only mad I did not stumble upon this video 3 years earlier.
i use Powershell Studio for all my apps/tools but today i needed a systemtray application that would show me a datagrid and some info. I couldn't do this with PS Studio , but managed with WPF. I then converted it into an exe with PS Studio. Thanks for the video!
Damien, just wanted to say that I love your work. I love how you broke all of this down. Still, I think it's worth noting that using grid AND stackpanel might make things a lot more cohesive for future reference, like if you wanted to use a grid template and then have stackpanel for the rows or columns, it seems a lot like what grid and flexbox do in css.
I will say, share share and share and not share to become mvp but for pleasure to help. Then you have to be recommanded by another mvp. Then your profile will be analyzed by people from Microsoft. You can find a post i did about that here: www.systanddeploy.com/2017/06/what-does-it-take-to-become-microsoft.html?m=1
