Ngl it's a great remaster of the Spectre, but at the same time it's something that I can find at my local Goodwill in its cool blue n white scheme for $4. Spring and internal upgrades then makes it into a nice James Bond sidearm or target plinker 👍 Still, a great review of the blaster!
The original specter had that yellow paint scheme too with a few differences. It also used the old bigger nerf darts so this one does have improved performance over the original but is basically a reskin of the blue elite one.
That Aeon pro really makes everything around it’s price kinda a hard buy in comparison. The next best blaster to buy for the price is the Buzz Bee Frantic Fury. If you know how to mod you can get that to shoot as harder or harder than the Nexus and it’s only $20, so for around $30 you can have all the accessories and performance of a Nexus.
I got the nerf spectrum last week and i think mine was a defect because the printing on it was really meased up and all the darts it came with or sliced at the bottom at an angle. Yours looks mutch better than mine and mine my silinder dosent like to go back in very well and is terrbile fo a war it just locks up if your not looking at how you put the silinder in. Also mine if you pull back all the way sum times it basiclly just plups out because for wereid reasons it dosent lock up. So l wonted to know if this is normal.

Good review! I wonder why yours is hitting so soft compared to American Foam's though, his was shooting much harder than yours for some reason.

Based on my personal experience it doesn't seem to be. I have also seen modded ones and that would be nearly impossible if it were reverse plunger.
