- Fender recently scored an invite to film the Neighbourhood during their rehearsals for “The Flood Tour” in support of sophomore album “Wiped Out!”
What our crew witnessed was a grueling rehearsal schedule and the band’s utmost dedication to perfecting their latest batch of songs.
“The second album is precious, [and] the amount that we worked on it makes it more precious,” explained guitarist Jeremy Freedman. “And how much we like the songs makes it near and dear to our hearts to present them in the right way. So I feel like if we’re not doing our best to at least present the songs that we wrote the best they could possibly be presented, then how could we ask for people to like it or enjoy the concert, you know? You’ve got to put in that work to get them to the place they need to be.”
Watch our exclusive behind-the-scenes video featuring live rehearsal footage and interviews with the band about the album, the upcoming tour and their favorite Fender gear.

The Neighbourhood is the Beatles of my generation, at least for me. I hope they still make music in 20 years. I will go every show
I love these guys so much I'm glad I saw them live they were amazing
Oli!!
MY GODNESS I LOVE ZACH'S VOICE
They are my favorite band.😊!!!
well, listening to the entirety of the album ive noticed that they seem to also dabble in sixties psychedelia and more velvet underground etc textures. rip to my youth isnt very much like the rest of the album as far as seeming so directly dipping their ink into hip hop/rap music anymore which.. was surprising to me to hear. i didnt expect it but it was good. not a disappointment good for them. they're exciting
RIP 2 my youth was their version of a pop hit single for that album. They released it as a single before any of the other songs, but you're right, it doesn't rly capture the whole album.
Best band.
They are amazing.

Mucho mejor que la cgada de Ed Maverick
back to when they were actually artists
just because you may not like their newer music (or whatever the case may be) doesn’t mean you have to discredit their artistry, they were amazing then and they’re amazing now
@@rosyalyy yeah sure, they just threw their old style of music, their THEME for some critics, that was an artistic choice what can I say..... they gave up the one thing that they were original for, the one thing that made them stick out of the rest, for whar? More fame? Some stupid bad reviews yet the fans loved wiped out. If you can still call them artists that’s aight but they are definietly not even close to their potential, lyrically and instrumentally, not to say about the fact that they are trashing their logo bit by bit
@@Alecsx1 i agree
@@Alecsx1 I partially agree, even though personally i liked all the chip chrome stuff, it shafted the black and white theme they built up over the years. only to revert back to it recently, i feel like if they thought out the chip chrome stuff more it wouldve been better, the musics fine, but the music videos, while good, shouldve had a more connected story, for it being a sort of concept album, it barely seemed like it
These guys think they're such an enigma. But the only people at festivals who try an unravel their DEEP mystery are 14 year old girls. The 5 minutes I saw of their performance were terrible. You can't just fucking stand there on stage if none of you really have any chops...from the vocals to the drums..nothing special. Dangerously boring.
RudyValo more like RudeValo
And your opinion matters because...?
If you dislike them so much then why go to their shows. And btw, their fans are actually the same age as them because they have grown up with them. Your opinion is highly irrelevant and miserably deluded. I suggest you get your facts straight before you make these comments. Or just keep them to yourself because it has evidently resulted in your own embarrassment...
I listen to a very wide variety of music, anything from The Rolling Stones, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, and mad season to Pac and dre and Kendrick. Arctic monkeys, cage the elephant and the nbhd. I listen to great musicians and these guys are it. They're revolutionizing modern music. I fuck with them and I'm sorry you don't see them for what they are. I guess that's your loss, but fact is, they're going to go far.
ok and what do u propose?
so happy i was able to see them on tour because theyre amazing
