Thank you for this information and training video. This helped me so much as I was trying to figure out why It wouldn't calibrate to the known points on the site.
Topcon uses the national standard geoid file types which are publicly available from www.ngs.noaa.gov. There you can see how the USA is divided into 8 grids. Find which grid your project is in and choose the right grid file. Also, MAGNET Field will tell you if you chose the wrong one. It'll tell you "elevations cannot be computed". If it says so, just choose the next one (as a trial & error if not willing to investigate more).

How do you know what geoid to use? I noticed Topcon has like 10 geoid18.bin files
