Tom, thank you for creating this video, its fantastic, and its been put together so well. Your Jinty looks and sounds absoulty brilliant, and runs so well. The Great Cockrow Railway looks an interesting place to visit one day. They have good set up, and your video really has shown it at its best. Thank You
Wow what can I say Tom just brilliant excellent footage of passing locos your jinty run really well excellent day I had there amazing layout there 👍🏻 regards glen
I have just been reading about the load cell problem at Imlec. It was caused by water ingress due to a lack of water proofing & the load cell being in the spray from the wheels. So poor design & even poor testing. They forgot that Imlec runs no matter what the weather as long as it is runnable.
Yea, she notched up fine, can’t remember if I hit the last notch, I may not have been quite going quick enough for that, but she went a couple of notches.
Hi Tom. Love your videos. I've just got my first 5" loco, a 14xx. Have you got any tips / advice for starting out in the hobby? What kit is needed ect. Perhaps you've previously made a video on this subject?
Thanks. I’ve not done anything specifically like that, but I generally hope to show realistic methods of achieving things, hopefully tips and ideas of what kit I’m using can be picked up, although that is a very open question, as it depends how involved in the hobby you want to be? Building locos, rebuilding existing locos or just basic maintenance to keep a loco running?
Some real works of art running there, but what really amazed me was seeing those interlocking panels with all the works😮

Amazing railway. Credit to you...
I wish I could take the credit, unfortunately I was just a visitor, but it is amazing and worth looking up!

The valve events on your Jinty sound a lot better now Tom. Nice set of beats.
Thanks, yes I was really happy with how it went.
Glad to hear it. Does she notch up at all?

I enjoy your videos of miniature railroad adventures. I was wondering if you were doing anything with your home railroad in the backyard?
Thanks. Unfortunately no progress for a while, a lot going on that’s taken me away from it, hopefully soon I’ll get a bit done.
