The best way to train any animal is with love, kindness, patience, and understanding vs. breaking them!!! Just look at what you have ended up with!!! I love your story so much!!!

I totally agree. Your way makes more sense. Horses are intelligent and 30 days for breaking sounds cruel.

You could have got him broken 30 days but instead you chose to make a friend and help him work through his issues. I think that's really awesome.

I would need to be trained to be used to horses first...I wish I had the means and time to do so. I've always loved horses. Always dreamed of having a horsey friend. At my age, though, I might learn how to ride one. Maybe. But I can live vicariously through you and Rudnik, so it'll do.

    The "Horse Talker" is correct.
    Rudnick is a loyal horse.
That is what makes them, not only rideable, but also very protective.

The quick way is breaking and the slow way is bonding and training. It’s called breaking for a reason, because it often breaks the horse’s spirit.

You both are thriving, tgat is obvious and at the end of the day what makes it all worth it.

If you go back in the channel’s video archives there’s several videos explaining the weight measurements. She actually uses a tape measure and somehow calculates Rudnik’s weight.

think people need training in not getting a moment retaliation, if horse shows aggression. Need to be bigger than them to show animal spirit how to respond to bad behavior. If they are not getting enough exercise, stimulation, usually it is something other than that bad interaction. Even bad diet needing extras...could cause signal something's off.
The English Equestrian at Paris Olympics being disqualified is a warning for everyone that society is saying no to unacceptable training methods.

Break a horse...the term alone..., but a well Trainer horse has no issue with a saddle, a rider and only thing it has to learn is the "language".....so ... . If the horse really trust you, it is only curious.

I HATE this term: 'brake a horse'! Glas can brake, not a horse. Why can't we call it just 'train a horse'?

  • @bobbiehofer4924

Cowboy breaking a horse is abuse! Take lessons from a Peruvian Paso trainer. The horses are trained with kindness and time. Breaking is a horrible word. I hate it.

  • @ckswat77zz51

Nothing wrong in what you’re saying except you just had to say cowboy. Really? So all COWBOYS teach horses the wrong way! I don’t think sooooooo.

    • @rudniktheroan
      @rudniktheroan  3 месяца назад

I’m referring to the situation I was directly involved in where a ‘cowboy’ abused my horse and it was suggested to me to send him away to be trained by one. If you want to take it personally that’s fine. But I refer to my fiancé as a cowboy so clearly I’m not referring to all cowboy. Hence the wording ‘cowboy’ = one who thinks they are but is not. True cowboys are some of the most amazing trainers I’ve seen. A ‘cowboy’ is not

    • @rudniktheroan
