I agree. The backpack can be a huge deal against bugs. I love running quasar with the jump pack so I can maneuver my way to favorable positions. It has infinite ammo and can one shot literally any enemy. Although for some reason it doesn’t always seem to work on the impalas, even though it should. But there are many non-anti-tank weapons that can deal with impalers extremely well. Now, on bots, I can see it being a tier lower. Not being able to crack bot ships in half is a huge downside. And it doesn’t seem to be able to destroy cannon turrets from the front in one shot, which is also a major downside. More than a nice stealth buff tbh, it effectively had its damage doubled which is crazy. However it kinda just amplifies its biggest weakness which is self harm and team killing. I really wish they would put a small fuse time on the rockets so they couldn’t immediately blow up in your face if there happens to be a dead body close to you.

One of my favorite run-and-gun builds on bugs is Stalwart/Guard Dog/MG Turret/Orbital Rail Cannon with Crossbow(Eruptor)/Verdict with either Stun or Gass grenades. Very mobile build that can handle just about everything when played well. Love that so many options are viable now
Stalwart is very niche. By itself, it is quite middling, however, it permits builds like stalwart/crossbow which in my mind is a build that has very little weakness. Bring some anti-tank strategems like 500Kg, OPS, Railcannon and you are good to go. You can handle all the annoying enemies like spewers, hive guards and alpha commanders, as well as hunter packs. Chargers get the Thermite grenade.
The mobile reload is a large advantage. The MG-43 is a beast in bug suppression but the stationary reload is tough, unless you have someone covering you'll not have the opportunity to reload. I love the MG-43 in missions like Raise the Flag where you're holding positions, but high mobility missions like Blitz and Hatchery I'll prefer the Stalwart.
I'd offer that machine gun / jump pack is infinity superior, just for the medium armor penetration I find the machine gun to be the obvious sweet spot between its two siblings
@@BenzoMerranzan Nothing wrong with the MG! It was the first support weapon I mained. In my case, I use the crossbow for the medium armor pen, and the stalwart for those pesky hunter swarms and for warriors (also, Stalkers). I sometimes rock the jump-pack as mobility is just so much fun. Other times, I go with Shield for some extra survivability.
I run this with rover doge because I like how the rover early warns you when you're being flanked and picks off small bugs while you crossbow larger enemies (or stalwart the approaching horde), close bugholes, or reload. Orbital airburst is great for tossing on breaches so you can focus on other things. Orbital napalm is also a great pick, especially if you have a team that regularly takes down biles and chargers quickly. I often rack up 600+ kills, and contribute to the team by closing lots of bugholes and defending objectives/covering retreats. You can use any secondary (cause you won't need it often), but try out the bushwacker for stalkers. This build kinda sucks against stalkers, but bushwacker wrecks them.
@@DavidSmith-mt7tb I tend to be hyper aware to sound (lots of Overwatch) so I normally hear the Stalkers coming. The Stalwart hoses them down, potentially even 2 at once. However, if they jump you or if there are more than 2, you are absolutely correct...I get wrecked! I do like the bushwacker, but the crossbow just offers so much utility that it is hard for me to pass up. I can (and often do) solo Heavy Nests particularly when I soften it up first with some sort of strategem and then use the JumpPack to take the angles I need to close the bug holes (with crossbow).
The airburst is kinda nice now. It's still C tier at best, but the stealth buff it got made it a bit more reliable to kill patrols and smaller enemies. It's pretty much like a stalwart where you use it on the same smaller enemies/patrols and you need a solid primary to kill everything else. It still need some big buff like the ability to turn off the auto detonation or maybe even programmable ammo (kinda like they did with the recoiless rifle to be a bigger single target boom), but it's very usable now. It would help getting the explosion closer to the enemies which would make it even more reliable (even more so on target like charger). It's definitely better on the bots side IMO. Especially if you can get a teammate to reload for you, it's actually a very descend weapon to clear the bot drops.
Maybe they should add a laser guidance to the airburst? You could then launch the rocket straight up and then guide it down to its target. Could also add a fire option to have proximity detonation disabled and have the rocket explode on direct impact.
Yeah, I can understand people not thinking that HMG is like God tear or anything. But let me tell you I rock the HMG with the guard dog as well as the gatlin sentry and the strafing run. And you are just a suppressing fire unit. Like when a bug breach emerges you will just lay so much suppressive fire down that they're going to wish they never called a bug bridge by you, especially when you're rocking that super heavy padded extra padding, heavy armor man, you would just you're like unstoppable you're an unstoppable Force. I'm just taking so much punishment and just surviving the strafe and run softens heavy targets up enough that the HMG can just finish them in like two shots. It's ridiculous. I can see why people won't really like it cuz it is a whole different playstyle to use, but you can't rock the HMG alone with light armor you need heavy armor. You need a guard dog to cover you while you reload and make a like a retreat. You can't just rock it alone. It's not just one of those strategies. Oh a machine gun or Star wars. No you need cover fire with that thing
mostly I agree except for the airburst rocket launcher. I normally pack my nade launcher and frequently top the number of kills. I did a couple of missions with the airburst last night and it's actually at the moment almost as good as the nade launcher. It's excellent at bot drops, taking out entire patrols, taking out factories and it will also kill hulks and tanks. Sure you have to careful to only fire it at enemies that are a fair distance away. But, I actually think it's really good now.
Came in to say exactly this, the air burst has absolutely come up out of the grave I ran it for the last 2 days and honestly haven’t had A SINGLE TK using it. I killed a teammate using a strafing run though 🪦 oops But yeah if you know what you’re doing the airburst is easy A tier
@@DjNaste it works great with bugs as well, I just finished lvl 10 where it shines dues to hordes of enemies. You just have to have some space in between. It's kinda strange but having sniper armor with better map scan is excellent, I cleared few packs going behind rocks before we even saw them.
I understand why people would say you need the supply backpack on the GL pre buff to the ammo economy but people really need to stop saying this now. Personally I rarely take the GL with a Supply pack anymore. I actually prefer the jump pack with this now, as you can get in and out of the large nests a lot easier to take those holes out for your squad, or just re position to take out chargers or impalers easier. If you take your time and get good with the GL, you end up wasting a lot less shots trying to kill things, needing less ammo over all. You can take out Impalers very easily. If you let the charger aggro onto your team mate, stun it, you can easily take it out in 3 shots to the butt. I wouldn't waste shots on BTs but take this into an IBCM mission and 2 shot pop one Bile Spewer and you are gonna chain react the pack for the most part. While I agree that IF you want to use this GL as your primary weapon, you surely would need take a supply pack and to just rain them into everything, but personally with the changes I prefer to play with this more reserved AS your support weapon when not wearing a supply pack anymore. The nice thing is that now you CAN do either. I've recently been running the lib concussive, with the medium pen drone, and the GL just playing more reserved with the GL ammo on this loadout but you can handle just about everything besides BTs which you can let your RR or heavy user do or drop 500s for! Just a tip and POV tip from someone who has used their GL as their fav support weapon since launch of the game. Other than that, Amazing Tier List Id have to agree with.

My metas... Terminids: - Light Gunner armor - Crossbow - Redeemer - Thermite - Jump Pack - Machine Gun - Orbital Rail Cannon - Eagle Airstrike Why? - Highest mobility/armor ratio - Best anti-swarm and bug hole closer - One-shot elites and clear small groups - Thermite for chargers Result: You'll early get the highest kill count, but you'll early die and you'll cover more objectives while providing amazing team support. Automatons: - Enforcer armor - Purifier - Verdict - Thermite - Recoilless Rifle - Orbital Laser - Orbital 120 HE Barrage - Eagle Airstrike Why? - Best armor/mobility balance with explosive protection - one-shot all but striders - best anti-ranged grunt take downs - clear bases - crowd control Results: Excessive property damage and glory with minimal loses
Air burst launcher really needs different ammo, give it AP rounds and gas or something to differentiate it. The auto cannon flak overshadows it completely
Also have a great build for you to try super fun and pretty powerful if you can use it correctly. Primary ( your choice ) I like the liberator concussive its great for light pen enemies, stunning stalkers and other enemies even if medium pen) Secondary, ( your choice) i prefer the senator for killing chargers and help with other enemies ( even bile titans) Grenade ( your choice) i like the standard incendiary grenade for bug holes and help crowed control. Supply bag pack ( for unlimited stun lock with lib concusive, nades and stims) Arc thrower ( for add control) 500kg and precision air strike great vs bile titans. You can change to Other bile titan killers eats and rocket sentry is great also
EAT is S-tier in practice, becuase you die so often when solo-queuing that it's often not worth going back to get your support weapons. EATs evaporate every heavy enemy, and you never need to worry about losing it when you die lol.
I get it but the relative safe bubble you need to get the most out of railgun seems crazy on level 10. It's great doing solo "kill charger" missions but in the thick of high-octane battle I haven't enjoyed it as much
Airburst launcher is so good bro you just don’t know how to use it. You gotta get high ground and shoot at anything that moves and you have to use it on planets with no trees and high visibility like Estanu. Let me show you how it’s done. I always get high kill games with airburst and it kill everything except bile titans. Sorry Pipz but you have no idea how to use the airburst as well as most of the player base. I have at least 200 hrs out of my 1000 hours in this game using airburst. It’s just not ur play style I understand but it has a specific way of playing that is extremely fun. I don’t even kill my teammates with it because I got used to the radius. Blowing up whole patrols in one shot is so fun and it even kill chargers better now too. You are so wrong Pipz sorry it’s at least B tier maybe C because of high skill gap. People just don’t know how to use it.
The gas thrower needs a buff. But still if you have communication with teammates and the heavy armor for gas, you can take all the patrols and help with a bug breach. (Gas throwe, supply pack, orbital gas, 500k ) Not the best, but can be used, at least I get fun
Love the arc thrower its great but need huge buff. For example, Light armour enemies ( 1 shot ) Medium targets ( 2 - 3 shots ) Stalkers ( 4 shots ) Nursing spewers ( orange ones) 2-3 shots Bile spewers (green ones) 3-4 shots Normal chargers ( 8 shot) Bile charger ( 8 shot) Charger behemoth ( 12 shot) Impaler ( with head exposed 12 shot) ( head not exposed 15 shot) Bile titans also should die by this gun ( 18 - 22 shots) They need this to work because its underrated, fun and needs some love
I think that they should just give it “programmable ammo”. Maybe add a setting where it doesn’t chain as much or at all and maybe even takes a bit longer to charge, but can unload a STRONG concentrated arc that could kill behemoths in 4-6 shots, impalers in maybe 7-10 and BTs in about the same maybe a shot or 2 more than impaler I’m just saying so you could toss 1 thermite on a BT or take out it’s sacks with a nade pistol or something, then finish it off with 3-5 shots. Because it feels awful sometimes to run arc and only have 2 500s every 2 minutes for consistent BT kills. And it’s even worse if it misses or doesn’t kill it in one. Yeah OPS exists but it’s not the best and I find it even less reliable than 500s
@@LrdBxRck its called support bro common sense lol. 2 anti tanks players 2 crowed control players. The crowed control players support the others by stunning everything and so on so your skill issue
The problem with making the stalwart a primary is that it would instantly become one of if not the best primary in the game so they would probably actually have to tone it down.
Don’t understand the love for the flamethrower. You have to hold the flamethrower on a charger for like 8 seconds straight before it dies compared to just 3 seconds before
the flamethrower is EASILY the top 3 best support weapons in the game, has nothing to do if its my fav or not:) and ifit takes u 8 secs to kill a charger most likely ur doing something wrong
Flamethrower is super strong if you build for it the right way. However it no way near as strong as it used to be. Adding the fact that to even be able to use it you have to be in jumping range of a gazillion hunters who will 1000% set you on fire. Fire armor and some type of stun/gas build is pretty much mandatory.
@@Crazymrpipz I used Flame Thrower for like +- 2 months straight after AH introduced the Behemoth Charger (that AT sucked at killing) because it was the only decent way to play vs Terminids at that point. I really disliked the risky play style before that, but I was compelled to use it because it was the best way to deal with chargers fast, although risky. Now that ATs 1-shot every Terminid Heavy and with more better primaries than back in the day, the Flame Thrower is not the best option anymore. I am not saying it is bad, but since we are talking about BEST support weapons, it is not IMO. Good but not the best. It might be fun to use but you can build around RR and AC (even Quasar) to be much more effective in the battlefield.
1. Stun for CC 2. Do not use it primarily head-on, always try to flank and corral your enemies as teammates attack from the front. 3. Mix in dives. Forward while blasting for extra range, backwards while blasting for dodging hits. 4. Use all range possible. Try to hit enemies with the tip of the flames, you can afford space. 5. Quick swipe the flame across groups of chaff and run. Let the DOT work for you. Overall, positioning plus a few simple techniques make the flamethrower very strong.
Mechs are an easy S tier, they are the most fun stratagem in the game as they are cool as hell. They can get you out in any TWO situation you find yourself.
i would say recoiless is better than railgun... Even with bagpack, mg43 as an a vs B in case of hmg and light one? great pick. yet tbh, all mgs looks like pew pew guns vs the flamethrower... literally. Problem for alll mgs is ammo and notjust coz low ammo, but coz bad ammo pickup. flamethrower gets 4 mags from ammo on the map, while all mgs take 1 mag from ammo on the ground around the map. its such a difference that i will say its bad how flamethrower destroy other weapons in this case. auto cannon isnt best... definetly not thx to the titans take so long and ammo as well, grenade launcher? i still feel like with xbow that cant destroy bug holes? S tier. now with xbow? A also idk if you all know, but amr can destroy container doors.
Nah. Stalwart is straight up god tier with the right build. Just about the only weapon with a magazine you can hold the trigger for days moving down anything up to alpha commanders when they move in on you. Combined with the purifier, crossbow or eruptor there isn't much that ever will come close enough to hit you. Also the handling buff combined with a viper armor and you can pick between targets in no time. Highly highly underrated weapon.

I respect you tremendously as a Helldivers content creator. However I take serious issue with your list. Just as I do with Dr. Pooplove's. This is NOT how tier lists work. Big Pee pee means GOAT. You can't have 5 GOATs. Michael Jordan is the GOAT at basketball. Van Halen is the GOAT at electric guitar. Railgun is the GOAT at Terminid support weapons. Period. That's the only one. There is no such thing as high A and low A. If it's objectively worse, it's in B. You can't say Arc Thrower is good, but only if you have the right team. No dude. It needs to be self sufficient Solo to be on the same tier with everything else. And you can't just omit such criteria for every other weapon.
@@Crazymrpipz I give the medal to AMR on the bot front. Railgun absolutely does not usurp AMR on that front (not with that red dot). I'm not going to go back and forth with a bug specialist over what the best weapon is. But there's no chance in hell, I'd put Flamethrower at the top of the pack, even post- reversion. It simply requires too many crutches (armor, shield, offensive strategems) to be an end-all-be-all answer to the bugs. Furthermore, Autocannon only came into favor as a bug weapon during the EoF nerfs. Giving up a backpack slot AND requiring a stationary reload? Yeah...that's not on the same level as Railgun. Not even with flak.
Air burst is fun. Not everything has to be “the best” to use it. Some weapons are fun and are good at doing specific things, regardless of any other weapons.
@@Crazymrpipz Actually it's very effective at medium and long range, yes it can kill you and your teammates if a bug is closer than you think or you shoot to low. But i've gotten 10-20 kills easily with one shot. It's like having a airburst in your hands.
Railgun need 2 shots to deal with heavy and you can run out of ammo. Quasar 1shots heavy and you cant run out of ammo. Placing railgun above quasar makes no sense.
the railgun deals with a wide range of enemies. you can use it for medium enemies like commanders and spewers as well as heavy enemies. additionally, the railgun fires fast even when charging. you also do not have to wait for it to cooldown in order to use it again. you can run out of ammo with the railgun, but it has enough ammo for it to not be a huge flaw and if you bring a supply pack, you can just spam railgun shots. quasar is still good, but the railgun is far more versatile and reliable
AMR doesn’t support your play style. I mean your bile titan example with LC and apply that to AMR and it shits on LC. It all comes down to how good you are no scoping and how good you are with slide tech.
Pipz... bro...why not S-Tier for Quasar?! Are we playing the same game lol?! I play 10 all the time and this beast can now 1 SHOT anything! Who cares if you need a headshot, skill issue. And you just switch when it's reloading and the kills never end! I seriously question how you can view the flamethrower as more elite when it simply cannot deal with heavies anywhere near as easily. Supports are for heavies. Primaries are for mid-low.
if u struggle with flame vs heavies thats 100% not the flames fault:) Ic an kill SO MUCH MORE with flame compared to quasar, including ALL ENEMIES not just heavies
@@Crazymrpipz I bet you can kill "so much more" while split from the team or if nobody else is using ATs. Like when ATs were completely useless and Flame Thrower was king (AKA only option viable to clear Chargers). Because if you are with the team and there are 1 or 2 players with any AT, you will not even have time to get near a charger/impaler/titan to use the Flame Thrower. AND there is always the constant risk of someone throwing an Eagle on you with the heavy.
Air burst can be used on defense missions to good effect. The sterilizer pairs well with guard dog/Rover and turrets. It's good at controlling everything a charger and below.
I dont like it when people making tier lists put a thing in the very bottom tier and provide zero explanation, no gameplay, no commentary other than "its awful" and then move on to the next thing. it feels like you didnt even try it
He only did that with the airburst rocket, and the rocket/gatling mech. If you use the airburst rocket yourself you will find out pretty fast why its garbage. There is no reason to explain why it sucks because it has barely changed since it came out, so its pointless to repeat himself from previous tier lists. This tier list is mostly just here to highlight the new changes, so there isn't much reason to talk about the weapons that hasn't changed. And as for the rocket/gatling mech, it just cant deal with heavily armored enemies and bug holes as good as the autocannon mech, which makes it bad in comparison.

I killed a teammate using a strafing run though 🪦 oops
But yeah if you know what you’re doing the airburst is easy A tier
This is a tier list for bugs, though.
@@DjNaste it works great with bugs as well, I just finished lvl 10 where it shines dues to hordes of enemies. You just have to have some space in between. It's kinda strange but having sniper armor with better map scan is excellent, I cleared few packs going behind rocks before we even saw them.

I run stalwart with crossbow and grenade pistol with thermite. Then ballistic backpack cluster bombs and strafing run. Super good ad clear and SO FUN.
Do you not find the crossbow makes the grenade pistol redundant? I sidearm the redeemer for sprawl.
Qusar is big pp for me. Unlimited ammo, plus the ability to let me bring a supply pack so I can spam purifier shots are insane
A continuous arc arc thrower with a backpack would be peak

That, my friend 😂 would be gloriously broken. Also 😂 GHOSTBUSTERS
It would make sense for The shield generator pack to provide this boost

@@Nadacalypse I agree with you but you need to cater your playstyle to compensate the no supply pack. For that i would be looking for the POI's on the map to find more ammo to replenish and paired with a jump pack i think this would be perfect for this playstyle. Let me know your thoughts
@@jackbernard484 well yes I did say you needed to play differently depending on if you’re taking a supply pack or not. Tbh I enjoy this a lot, if I take the jump pack I’ll look on the map try to find out where blue objectives would be around, stalker nests, radar, seaf etc and I’ll run off on my own for a fair bit, help take things out while the rest take out whatever together. I’ll re group if they’re having a rough time but I like to go off and solo some stuff at the very least.
My metas...
Terminids:
- Light Gunner armor
- Crossbow
- Redeemer
- Thermite
- Jump Pack
- Machine Gun
- Orbital Rail Cannon
- Eagle Airstrike
Why?
- Highest mobility/armor ratio
- Best anti-swarm and bug hole closer
- One-shot elites and clear small groups
- Thermite for chargers
Result:
You'll early get the highest kill count, but you'll early die and you'll cover more objectives while providing amazing team support.
Automatons:
- Enforcer armor
- Purifier
- Verdict
- Thermite
- Recoilless Rifle
- Orbital Laser
- Orbital 120 HE Barrage
- Eagle Airstrike
Why?
- Best armor/mobility balance with explosive protection
- one-shot all but striders
- best anti-ranged grunt take downs
- clear bases
- crowd control
Results:
Excessive property damage and glory with minimal loses
Air burst launcher really needs different ammo, give it AP rounds and gas or something to differentiate it. The auto cannon flak overshadows it completely
Also have a great build for you to try super fun and pretty powerful if you can use it correctly.
Primary ( your choice ) I like the liberator concussive its great for light pen enemies, stunning stalkers and other enemies even if medium pen)
Secondary, ( your choice) i prefer the senator for killing chargers and help with other enemies ( even bile titans)
Grenade ( your choice) i like the standard incendiary grenade for bug holes and help crowed control.
Supply bag pack ( for unlimited stun lock with lib concusive, nades and stims)
Arc thrower ( for add control)
500kg and precision air strike great vs bile titans. You can change to Other bile titan killers eats and rocket sentry is great also
The grenade launcher "You're gonna have a blast with it"... I see what you did there!
EAT is S-tier in practice, becuase you die so often when solo-queuing that it's often not worth going back to get your support weapons. EATs evaporate every heavy enemy, and you never need to worry about losing it when you die lol.
Finally someone giving the railgun some love. You can kill 10 bile titans with those 20 rounds before needing a resupply
(Gas throwe, supply pack, orbital gas, 500k )
Not the best, but can be used, at least I get fun
Been running grenade launcher and ammo pack sonce the game came out. Makes you feel like a ground forces badazz
airburst is big pp tier it can one shot chargers, basically a recoiless but with aoe
Absolutely agree with most of the list, could yo do another video for automatons? Thanks
he doesnt play bots sadly
I was getting big kill numbers with airburst rocket laucher last night
I'm a fan of the sterilizer. It just can't be used alone. Pair it with the guard dog and it does well. On it's own, C tier is fair.
Love the arc thrower its great but need huge buff.
For example,
Light armour enemies ( 1 shot )
Medium targets ( 2 - 3 shots )
Stalkers ( 4 shots )
Nursing spewers ( orange ones) 2-3 shots
Bile spewers (green ones) 3-4 shots
Normal chargers ( 8 shot)
Bile charger ( 8 shot)
Charger behemoth ( 12 shot)
Impaler ( with head exposed 12 shot) ( head not exposed 15 shot)
Bile titans also should die by this gun ( 18 - 22 shots)
They need this to work because its underrated, fun and needs some love
I think that they should just give it “programmable ammo”. Maybe add a setting where it doesn’t chain as much or at all and maybe even takes a bit longer to charge, but can unload a STRONG concentrated arc that could kill behemoths in 4-6 shots, impalers in maybe 7-10 and BTs in about the same maybe a shot or 2 more than impaler
I’m just saying so you could toss 1 thermite on a BT or take out it’s sacks with a nade pistol or something, then finish it off with 3-5 shots. Because it feels awful sometimes to run arc and only have 2 500s every 2 minutes for consistent BT kills. And it’s even worse if it misses or doesn’t kill it in one. Yeah OPS exists but it’s not the best and I find it even less reliable than 500s
@@ci825 programmable ammo is a real thing for artillery, tanks and navel guns. It's not that unheard of for space infantry to be using.
Brother... if you wants buffs, why on earth would you want bile spewers to take 6 shots??? Bile spewers rn only take 2-3.
If you have the time to kill a charger your team is doing something wrong.
@@LrdBxRck its called support bro common sense lol.

Autocanon is the perfect support weapon, especially now with flak added.
Just use what you enjoy using thats the beauty of helldivers 2
I wish quasar had the same charge and damage mechanics as the new purifier.
They should just combine the Sterilizer and Flamethrower into one weapon, with a toggle.
The problem with making the stalwart a primary is that it would instantly become one of if not the best primary in the game so they would probably actually have to tone it down.
i think the ariburst its ok for the bots patrols without hulks.
Quasar Cannon really does deserve to be top tier it can take out any enemy in the game with 1-2 shots

Is the Gas gaurd dog any worth spending medals on? I’m on the fence
One wrong stratagem, and you’re bug chow. Thanks for the analysis!

I haven't played bugs in so long because Joel keeps the major order stringing us along on bots...I just want to relax please Joel have mercy
Don’t understand the love for the flamethrower. You have to hold the flamethrower on a charger for like 8 seconds straight before it dies compared to just 3 seconds before
It is his favorite weapon and it is always biased on every tier list to S. IMO it is mid A.
the flamethrower is EASILY the top 3 best support weapons in the game, has nothing to do if its my fav or not:) and ifit takes u 8 secs to kill a charger most likely ur doing something wrong
1. Stun for CC
They can get you out in any TWO situation you find yourself.
it's him, the buffdiver
i would say recoiless is better than railgun... A
also idk if you all know, but amr can destroy container doors.
Laser cannon just evaporates titans if you shot them in there weakspots
Always love playing 3 man laser lightshows against bile titans.
it drives me up a wall when ppl rank the HMG without using it on its max RPM
Yeah max RPM shreds chargers and bile titans
and peak physique
Highly highly underrated weapon.
yeah, even shreds stalkers
Only downside of the stalwart is it's so ineffective against bots but it tears bugs up especially if you build around it ie: stun bombs,
@@rapatouille Exactly. And you can use it with a number of primaries if you build around it. Easy on the best weapons in the game for bugs even if it can be a bit niched.
@@Mrtll Might very well be. Out of about 600h I don't think I've even played 50 against bots.

arc thrower over MMG and spear in bottom A tier (its def better than laser) for me but otherwise agreed
And you can't just omit such criteria for every other weapon.
while I appreiate the kind words... ur approach to tier lists goes against everything a tier list is :D and thats fine btw we can agree to disagree
Some weapons are fun and are good at doing specific things, regardless of any other weapons.
fun doesnt mean effective, if i do a FUN tier list than its a diferent story, this is a tier list for the most effective tools:)
@@Crazymrpipz airburst damage got buffed tho
@@Crazymrpipz Actually it's very effective at medium and long range, yes it can kill you and your teammates if a bug is closer than you think or you shoot to low. But i've gotten 10-20 kills easily with one shot. It's like having a airburst in your hands.
He put the AMR in the C category
Yeah but the Quasar can't fire again until the Railgun fired 6 shots.
I think the same way as you do.
if u struggle with flame vs heavies thats 100% not the flames fault:) Ic an kill SO MUCH MORE with flame compared to quasar, including ALL ENEMIES not just heavies
That is how you play and that is fine, but horde clear supports are far from useless. You don't need 4 people to bring RR or Quasar.
Just came here to tell everyone it's grenade launcher. Don't need to explain but it's 100% facts.
Air burst can be used on defense missions to good effect.
The sterilizer pairs well with guard dog/Rover and turrets. It's good at controlling everything a charger and below.
The only reason youd take the air burst os cos your drunk lmao
Airburst is such a joke
@@pizzaaFAEN I mean while I agree it’s not perfect, I would say that doubling the damage of the air burst is a pretty big change, although I’d say it’s more of a bot weapon than a bug weapon

Yep, played with it last for the first time in a while. It's not a short range weapon. you just have to aim under the charger/impaler or whatever.
airburst is my bread n butter. and i easily clean up t10s deathless.
In my humble 820h opinion, S Tier should have the best of the best for an specific role. Recoiless is the Best anti-heavy weapon and Auto Cannon is the best medium clear with utility. Only these 2 deserve S tier.
Grenade Launcher, Railgun and Flame Thrower are worse overal than the Autocannon. Should be place somewhere in A tier.
Specially now that Recoiless and Auto Cannon have the programmable ammo, they are the only 2 best of the best Support Weapons for the Terminid front.
I agree and I'm convinced that RR is the best support weapon in the game... BUT it takes away the option of a backpack like shield or jetpack what clearly is a downside compared to railgun or flamethrower. Survivability shouldn't be underestimated.
@@quasiZote You are correct about survivability being important. When I started playing HD2 in February I was a Shield Back pack only player. After learning more how to play, I started using Supply Backpack. Addicted to the Supply Backpack. Then, with more experience, I noticed that they are not that essential if you play smart and with a knockback/stagger primary. I no longer find it absolutely necessary like before. From my experience, survivability vs Terminids is way more chill than vs Automatons, so you can ditch the Supply Backpack safely to use the RR and AC and perform better.
