My favorite Christmas episode of Thomas is the one where they celebrate Thanksgiving on a British isle.

I used to have a head canon that the villagers were people from America who couldn’t make it back to America in time for Thanksgiving so Thomas and Percy helped them out by celebrating Thanksgiving with them to make them feel better
Nice headcanon.
It’s interesting, although I don’t think the US dub is canon, unless this is another event that could be canon but not in the way it was presented.
Genius idea!
This story was my introduction the idea of a white Thanksgiving. Usually, it doesn't snow on Thanksgiving.
That's adorable 💛
I SO wanted Harold to say "is he a mermaid?" after Percy grew the beard! XD
Okay, that edit of Percy growing a beard is pure art. Also, this episode is one of my favorites of the whole show. I never noticed the syncing issues as a kid, I guess I just didn't pay attention to stuff like that, but yeah, they really should've just kept this a Chrismas episode on both sides of the pond.
"Is he a mermaid?"
I love the reference to the first SpongeBob movie at 3:03 especially since Alec Baldwin was also in it.
THIS IS WHAT A REAL MUSTACHE LOOKS LIKE
Harold: 😮
…Is he a mermaid?
👨
Arry and Bert are jealous of Percy’s beard
I waited to watch this video until December
Ah yes
Christmas
*In march*
For anyone who’s new, this is a reupload of a video that was actually published in December.
In the US, this is a Thanksgiving story.
Thank you for explaining why this episode always felt weird as a kid. Lol
I think that having two versions of the US dub where one has it be a Thanksgiving episode and the other a Christmas episode would have been the smart move to make. I remember seeing the extended version of Thomas' Winter Wonderland and had always wondered why the narration was a bit off in that one. I was also very much surprised to see the previously deleted scenes now present and wondered what that was about. It confused me when the narrator said Percy went back to fetch his train and Toby had arrived, but the scene showed Percy hadn't left. What confused me about this episode overall was that it had snowed in November, something I never saw happen in real life at the time. It's funny that I say that since it is November right now and it is actually snowing outside my house as I'm typing this.
I saw this episode on my Percy's Ghostly Trick DVD when I was 5 years old and when they said it was "Thanksgiving" I was totally confused. Until years later I bought a Mexican version of the Thomas and His Friends Help Out DVD (I'm from Mexico, but most of my Thomas DVDs are from the United States), in the Latin Spanish dub they said it was "Christmas" ( the thing is that they dubbed the episode directly from the UK version)
Even as a kid, I knew the end of the US version was out of sync in several VHS tapes I owned. And I knew that it was a Christmas themed episode. The UK version is better by a long shot.
Move over, UPS. This Thanksgiving, the railroad's taking over. Thomas & Percy are delivering the Thanksgiving mail.
Felt like a good time to rewatch this one
When rewatching the episode today (it was thanksgiving), I realized that you could argue that the people decorated the sheds for Christmas now that thanksgiving is here. Sort of a way to say, “Hooray! Christmas is just around the corner!”
Great review of an okay, weird episode. Never made sense why they turned it into a thanksgiving episode for us in the US. But it’s a fun, cute little story nonetheless either wayb
I think because It’s more North American I guess? Like it’s very North american
The holiday was basically forced into the episode to match up with the episode of Shining Time Station it was airing in (which took place during Thanksgiving). I think this would have just been better off being released direct to video.
Honestly, it's a good story. I like the idea of a white Thanksgiving. Not to mention that we once again see Thomas & Percy being the veterans of the Mail Train.
Merry Christmas Eve again, Tug!
The Last Train for Christmas is My Favorite Christmas Episode for feeling like a Cinematic Special, the music from Robert and Peter Hartshorne is excellent, the characters are handled right in this episode especially Conner, and the ending is perfect!

PERCY: This is what a real mustache looks like! Ergh! *Grows Mustache*
HAROLD: … 😳
ME: Is he a mermaid?
oh boy it's Christmas again!
These days, time really does fly by.
It's almost as if Easter didn't happen yet.
Tbh, holidays dont even mean much anymore. Theyre just discount market events.
Stores used to be closed on the day before, during, and after a holiday. Then, by the mid-2000s, we started having stores open the day before and after a major holiday.
By the early 2010s, even the day of the holiday has business hours. Christmas is the only holiday that people revere and even that doesmt mean much anymore.
Yeah, when I was little, I always grew up with the mountain adventure one
Percy finally hit puberty guys!!!!!!

The out of sync parts of this episode are the only part that bothers me. The rest of the episode is just great. So I think it’s an okay episode.
This might be my favourite Christmas episode of the show.

tbh, Thanksgiving is a preview of Christmas. Especially with Bkack Friday happening a few hours after turkey dinner.
Poor James... he was probably so frustrated. XD
i wish it was christmas
instead of changing an entire episode thats so obviously Christmas themed, couldnt they just have used an episode that had a theme of being thankful?
Saved From Scrap seems fitting. Trevor is thankful for Edward and the Vicar saving him
Merry March
Good video and merry Christmas
Dude, the Season 7 dub with Mike & Junior music along with Brandon's narration is now available on Amazon and RUclips.
Really?
@@dikkekipgaming Yes, just research MB original music, not only will you find it but also many HiT era episodes with Mike & Junior music as well.
7:24 I think that’s the version of the episode I saw as a kid
Percys love them beard
The Thanksgiving term in the US version of the episode is the Thomas equivalent of Brock’s “jelly donuts”.
I know this was a re upload but I agree that it was a wonderful march break

*Merry March.*
This is a reupload of a video from 2020
Positive comment
4:38 happy Christmas
7:02 cuts to a month later
I like the happy Thanksgiving version of it. Because it fits better, also the narrator would’ve said merry Christmas or maybe the writer should put it down?
I always thought it was my VHS tape that was screwed up
Nice
3:05 Thank me later.
does anyone have the live steam revised video of the episode? the video is gone and can't find the channel.
3:06 bro turned into Dennis the diesel
Ah yes, marchrismis
Oh no i was the 6 hundredth and sixty six like
The Christmas episodes are all the same and my favorite Christmas episode is Thomas and Percy’s Christmas adventure same as yours
3:10, is he a mermaid?
I Don't Know Which One Is The Worst: This? Or The English Dub Of The PoKéMoN Anime Changing Japanese Food Like Riceballs To American Food Like Jelly Doughnuts?
Or the obvious Zoophilia in Pokémon that’s connected to erotic Japanese folklore according to a recent leak and the Japanese version of Diamond and Pearl found in the library. I thought Gardenia’s obsession for Grass Types such as Cacnea, Carnivine, and Victorebel in the anime was suspicious? Yes to us we see Pokémon as animals, to Japan they see them as Yokai.
I am really upset that the fan edit with George Carlin has been deleted. It was so good! Does anyone know if there’s a reupload somewhere?
Oh my gosh I finally know why the sounds effects and stuff are out of sync at the end I was always so confused
Does anyone know what happened to Livesteam's channel? I really enjoyed his episode edits. Anyone by chance have a link to the drive folder of them?
3:05
The revised video is now deleted. Oof...
Why don't they just keep it as a xmas episodes
He just explain it, that Britt, Rick and the other producers would change this episode to make it a thanksgiving episode. For Shining time station.

I didn’t know you lost your previous channel, I was just wondering why I hadn’t seen new videos for a long while. Anyway, I’m rewatching all the reuploads to help you get your views back. I really enjoyed them the first time I watched.
I’m old, and I watched Thomas on Shining Time Station when I was preschool age. 😂
