Basic se start kiya and higher level ke question bhi wop approach se ho gye, really feeling very satisfied that I am able to do each and every type of question of parabola now. Experience: Aj ki class practice based class thi, and I can say very confidently that these two classes are more than enough to gain mastery over parabola.
Basic se start kiya and higher level ke question bhi wop approach se ho gye, really feeling very satisfied that I am able to do each and every type of question of parabola now.
Learning : *I learn how to find vertex, focus, equation of directrix, latus rectum, points of latus rectum in general equation by using completing the whole square method and then comparing the points with standard form.
*Length of latus rectum =4×distance of vertex from directrix and 2×distance of focus from directrix.
*If vertex is (a, 0) and focus is (b, 0) then equation of parabola is y²=4(b-a)(x-a)
*To find the axis of parabola, do the partial derivative of that term whose square term is given.
*Hardwork beats talent, if I do hardwork on daily basis without any break then chances of selection are more.

Learning: Starting from a wonderful example kisi ball pr light ki alag alag direction se hi circle ellipse ka visualisation jo hum daily life me dekhte hai lekin observe nhi krte
Double napped cone >> two cones k tops ko 180degree pr join krke bni figure jiska base circular hai and 2 nappe (one upper , one lower)
Generator - rotating axis in souble napped cone(dnc)
Semi vertical axis- fixed vertical axis of dnc
Vertex- joining part of two cones or center of dnc
Angle alpha - angle between generator and semi vertical axis which is always fixed or constant for every dnc
Circular base is always perpendicular to semi vertical axis
Conics from dnc
By cutting dnc from different angles we will get different shapes
Beta - is the angle between semi vertical axis and plane
Circle- if we cut dnc parallel to its circular base and do not pass through vertex then we get a circular shape and line cuts both the generators of dnc
Here beta = 90 degree
Ellipse- if we cut dnc a little different angle not equal to 90 degree and line cut both generating lines and do not pass through vertex then we get ellipse
