I don't think it is from the Smokies, but I chose this pic way back when because it reminded me a lot of riding through Newfound Gap between Gatlinburg and Cherokee, especially in the higher elevations with all of the dying hemlocks and all the fog. Nice catch. Definitely look into MF DOOM. You won't regret it.
