@@CodingInterviewPrep wait you got a offer from jane street or citadel for quant role ? last question If I go for a ms in some lets say ivy's, do I have a chance to get into these foreign firms?
and pls tell me one more thing if I make to ICPC finals would these companies find interest in me because a lot of people in these companies are icpc world finalist
I did not get a offer from them. Citadel's recruiter had reached out to me last year because they had some open positions. At that moment I had already joined Tower so I decided not to interview for them.
Just send referral requests to people even if you don't make it to ICPC finals. Don't think about whether company will show interest in you or not.
Regarding ICPC World finals, I personally think that it is a very big achievement to have and usually quant firms show lot of interest in it as their target is always to hire the top talent.
Will a Masters in Mathematics from IIT Delhi help? Or is it just for engeenering students?
Not open for m.techs or msc, only open for btech or dual degree :(

due to lack of maturity and awareness i missed my chance to get into IIT but i will make my self so skilled that even if i go for btech in Tier 3 i will try to become a good quant in these firms cuz i got insterest in this and i believe strong determination and hardwork can make anything possible.
Sir, can a student from a third tier college get this job after having internship in top company and having great coding skill? If not after graduation, then which companies should he target first and gain experience to finally get a job at these companies
Please reply sir
Nope, HFTs hire only from top IITs top branches...they are highly specific for the top JEE rankers.

how to apply for hft firms from iiit?
Many IIIT Hyd folks work at HFTs. I think some HFTs also do on campus hiring there. You can check with your placement cell
@@CodingInterviewPrepIs this on campus or off campus?
I have been teaching quant since 12 years
Good to hear
Hi Shubham - Thanks for putting this together and sharing! Watched this and other prep video of yours.
Question:
You've mentioned multiple books (combined >10 books if we count programming, maths, system design etc.). My guess is these books are to be used selectively and not entirely. Can you please share the topics to refer from each of these books? in a different video or in comment here - whatever is easier for you.
Thanks in advance! :))
Lot of important topics are there. Too much effort to type all of them here 😅

Can you check out this video which I created today: ruclips.net/video/vhjQtxzH9GM/видео.html
But they hire from top iits
Yeah. But you could still get there after gaining some experience in some small/mid sized trading firm. Also the quant firms in Europe don't really care about your college tier and are way better than these companies. They have very strong market presence and also offer much higher salary and great benefits. Try for them.

I've been trying to get in touch with you but your instagram link isn't working. How can I get in touch with you?
I'm inactive on social media so you can ask here whatever you wanna ask.
Thanks so much for the info…. Are you on LinkedIn..? Would like to connect
I've received your connection request (saw an email from IinkedIn). I'll accept it when I login next time. I'm rarely active on LinkedIn.
