- Burbank, CA (Wednesday, June 29, 2011) - The Liars are ill at ease when they each have to confront complicated matters in "Surface Tension," an all new episode of ABC Family's hit original series, "Pretty Little Liars," premiering Tuesday, July 26th (8:00 - 9:00 PM ET/PT).
Its moving day for Emily, and with a new place to call home, she is feeling more like a guest than part of the family. Hanna is also feeling uneasy, but for her it is in regard to Caleb's continued shady "business" dealings and his nonchalant attitude about it. And when Toby makes a surprising discovery, Spencer is thrown for a loop by the find and her father's reaction to it. With the girls already on edge, could they be sitting targets for "A's" next move? Or does "A" have bigger plans for the four and is just making them wait?
Meanwhile, Aria is put in a tricky position when both Ezra and Jason are invited to the Montgomery dinner party and vie for her attention when the soiree goes awry.
It really seems like Exra and Aria were hosting this party together in this scene, you know how they work so well together cleaning up and everything, it's so sweet seeing them as a 'normal' couple.
I love Ezra, but that side eye he gives can kill.
"I'll run the dishwasher".... umm ezra none of those dishes were used haha

Poor Ezra, he's being all nice and doing the dishes and she's ignoring him for Jason. Really?
shes not ignoring him. 1. aria and ezra have a secret relationship so shes probably just trying to make sure jason doesnt get suspicious of them and 2. jason is her friend and the only person she can really relate with when it comes to troubled teens.
Kinda felt bad for Ezra he was trying so hard 😢

@ISortaLovedYou They have to be! If you do the math, it's been almost a year - they're currently in the springtime right before school ends. However, then they screwed up and placed Hanna's dad's wedding in November, thus completely ruining their timeline. If you go by the clothes they wear, the weather, and what they say: it's spring the following year. if you go by the wedding, it's been a year and 2 months since the pilot. Either way, the girls are all 17 now, or almost 17.
Maybe they washed them because they were touching them and they were out on the table? i don't know, I was kind of thinking the same thing as you at first though lol

Who heard aria say Ian which is ezras real name instead of ezra at 1:24
I think she meant ian thomas, melissa's dead husband who was hooking up with alison, i don't think she was talking about ezra (that would have been weird because people didn't know about them then)

She was referring to one of the characters Ian Thomas, not Ian Harding
