    Dear Midas Team, first of all thank you very much for this helpful demonstration, please can we have the technical presentation in pdf, also we need a seminar related to various types of walls and plates in Midas gen and when to use them, also please if you can explain the stiffened thickness option under the (Section property tab- Thickness- Stiffened) for creating voided or ribbed slabs.

    Bro when should i extrude a wall element as a plate ( as a thick plate ) and when should i extrude it as a wall and when i choose element type wall whats the difference between sub type : membrane and plate ,and wall type : plate base and CRB.

    Hi Sir. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Can I clarify the punching check consideration on the slab? On your model, columns are interconnected with girders. Does punching considered the presence of girders or being neglected??

      midas gen doesn't consider the beams connected in the columns. the software computes by this way if selected by code in their analysis
