Just a tip for someone looking to upgrade an old laptop HDD to SSD. DRAM or DRAMless it doesn't matter if you're not gonna edit videos on it. If it's going to be a simple browsing machine then choose any good branded SSD.

@@noneofyourbusiness3611 laptop 7th gen and above most of them come with m.2 chip type ssd which has better performance than the normal sata ssd , but if u dont have m.2 slot on board , replace the existing HDD with SSD wud definitely increase the performance
