So… my family lived comfortably. But most of my friends’ parents made less than my parents. We could afford to do nice things and have nice meals when they came over. But their families treated me better than my own family did. I didn’t mind the junk food and soda at all. 😂 I didn’t mind sleeping on a thin mattress on the floor (if they even had room for me to stay over). I just felt loved, acknowledged, and understood by them. 🥰 That was worth more to me than any toiletries or meals made from scratch.

I would LOVE to be able to live like this. I plan to work very hard to achieve my goals. I’m not old enough to have a job and my parents are struggling financially. I find I upsetting when we go to the store just to get a few things and if my siblings ask for something they say they don’t have enough money. So… my family lived comfortably. But most of my friends’ parents made less than my parents. We could afford to do nice things and have nice meals when they came over. But their families treated me better than my own family did. I didn’t mind the junk food and soda at all. 😂 I didn’t mind sleeping on a thin mattress on the floor (if they even had room for me to stay over). I just felt loved, acknowledged, and understood by them. 🥰 That was worth more to me than any toiletries or meals made from scratch.
