There are many other core area's of Sundarban.. this is only the tourist part of a huge mangrove forest.. like netidhopani , kalas dwip, Boni camp , bhagwatpur crocodile park, burir dabri etc the main core area's .. if there is a second time it will be my pleasure to be a part of your journey.. thank you . ❤ From West Bengal.
I have heard about one or two names mentioned by you brother but only 20% of the area is open for tourism. The canals in which we went are those places where a normal tourist boat doesn't go. I had hired a private boat so I was able to cover a vast area of the reserve. You & I know how difficult the terrain is to spot a tiger. You have to be extremely lucky to spot one. Nevertheless thank you so much for liking the vlog brother your words of appreciation truly mean a lot. 🙏🤗🐯❤️. I would love to be with you on the boat next time I cover the buns😉
Some areas, especially the Bangladesh borders are offlimits due to piracy and other law and order issues. Unless, of course, we are lucky enough to hitch a sail on a forest dept launch. My first few trips there in the 90s were too good as I hd a friend posted there at the time and we managed some coverage for The Statesman. Not sure if one can go to the core nowadays unless one is volunteering for tiger census.
@@SanghamitraMandal I have been to Bangladesh but haven't explored the Sundarbans there. Yes, a civilian cannot enter the core area of any forest. Volunteers only associated with the wildlife institute of India are allowed to be a part of the tiger census.

Indeed difficult for the tigers to survive in Sundarbans!! I wonder how difficult it is for forest officials to count tigers there, a bit sceptical about the accuracy of tiger count in Sundarbans. I know they can’t be accurate but they should publish a range (for instance 100-120 tigers) rather than an absolute value! Anyways informative video, one of the reasons I watch your video - Always get to learn something new.
The Sundarbans offer the tiger a harsh & hostile terrain to flourish. The counting is done with the help of camera traps, when you visit these islands you will see a piece of thermocol on the branches of the mangroves which is an indication that cameras have been installed on a particular island. Not all the islands have been installed with cameras as the terrain is difficult & the department cannot install cameras on all the islands. Tiger tracking is purely a game of luck here. Thank you so much for finding our vlogs informative. Thanks for all the love & support brother.
Sunderbans is big smoked place for Tiger... a fully grown male tiger cant go far in life span only few make it through.. lot to write but it doesn't matter..
Hi Dhruv.. firstly this place is beautiful and starting shots are so amazing, now I was waiting specially for this episode because even I imagined a tiger hunting whenever I heard the name Sundarbans but thankyou for busting this myth, our misconceptions.. Its toughest for needy people who have to go inside forest for their livelihood 🙏. Would love to hear it from Dada also but I wanted to know your perception too. This whole series is very informative thankyou for your efforts🙏👍🐯❤
Hey bro🤗. Thank you for applauding the video & my hard work as always 😆. Yes, the terrain is very difficult for the tiger to hunt. I have a picture in which you can see a tiger's legs ducked into the mud banks. The myths had to be cleared otherwise some idiot RUclipsr may come & spread them more 😆. The last episode will be an eye-opener regarding this man-eating concept. My perception is that people have been killed but the killings happened in the forest as stated by me in the vlog. No case of stalking has been recorded so far. The tiger attacks anything he sees in the jungle as the prey vase is very low because of the reasons I stated. Thanks a ton for giving so much love to the Sundarban series bro. Lots of love Dhruv ❤️🐯🤗😉🍻

The Sundarbans are not only close to my home but closer to my heart. The summers and winters have open wide beauty. But a monsoon afternoon with the curlews calling can make one feel they are on the remotest part of the world and gives you a sense of tremendous melancholy. Pls tell us more about the differences between the salt water crocs and the traditional allegators. But of couse, they have evolved to survice in this salty ecosytem. Some are of the opinion that the tigers here are born mankillers due to overexposure to salt water. But for some reason, the Kalahandi tigers from Odisha are also mankillers. It's a droughty landscape, again lack of meetha paani as drinking water. The issue is people there are so poor, they cannot help going in. They have no alternative livelihoods. So, they are attacked much like how men are attacked when people go in forests to collect woods. Sundarban tigers are amazing at camouflaging, so we miss them most of the times. And for some innate fear of motor launches, they won't attack those but took people from countryboats.
Wow, such a beautiful explanation Sanghamitra 😍. It's truly amazing to see yourself in the Sundarbans. An awesome place though scary 😆. So salty's are way different from alligators. Firstly their snout is narrow, alligators have broad snouts. Secondly, alligators are only found in the US in the Everglades which is in the state of Florida. Salty's are way bigger in size & mass but alligators too are massive. The killing instincts are the same. Alligators are slow movers on land as compared to salty's. Alligators include the Burmese pythons as a part of their diet in the Everglades. I don't know about the Kalahandi tigers, thanks for letting me know about them I will research it & will get back to you. Thanks for liking the vlog like always. 🙏

@@ONEMILEATATIME02 thanks Love your videos from Karnataka hope you will become Indian famous youtuber soon
👍
Hi Dhruv.. firstly this place is beautiful and starting shots are so amazing, now I was waiting specially for this episode because even I imagined a tiger hunting whenever I heard the name Sundarbans but thankyou for busting this myth, our misconceptions..
Lots of love Dhruv ❤️🐯🤗😉🍻
bhaijan apki baat alag hai lekin ustad ki baat alag thi sabhi tigers se waise sunderbans jana worthy hai agr aap tiger sightting kay nazariye se dekho to im asking u a question
Wasim bhai lagta hai aapne poori series nahi dekhi hai. Ustad toh ustad hai lekin woh bhi yahan survive nahi kar pata. Main apki ustad ke liye feelings ko samjhta hoon. Thoda simple way main question puchenge toh main aapke sawal ko ache se samajh jaunga or uska answer doonga bhaijaan 🙏🤗 Tiger dekhna hai toh Sundarban is not the right place if you want to see a tiger !!!! Yahan sirf luck pe game chalti hai 😉
