If there is one thing I have learned from Linkara's "History of Power Rangers" series, it's the historical prevalence of the Ancient Ninja Electric Guitar. This mix clearly elaborates on the traditional sounds of the time.
Like in Earthbound how the Final Boss starts with 8bit music, respectful to NES hardware limitations. Then the guitar gets in and the song starts and you shit your pants 3 times as hard.
I like how the old Japanese instruments and voices are sorts representing sonics “nature”-ness while the electric guitars are adding the modern and new tech stuff of Eggman.

First of all, it wasn't even version 1. The real version 1 was only shown behind closed doors and on an old poster covered up by shadows, not in any public trailer. We only have leaked pictures of it. Second, I would have preferred we get a new Sonic design for the movie, instead of just copying the one from the games with more realistic textures applied. The old model was good, actually. You folks just look at the infamous screaming frame, which does look uncanny but still more expensive than the final version, and use it to dismiss that design as a whole, and that's no good!
I don't get why And Knuckles came in a crappy destroyable cardboard box, it should have came with a hard case modified to hold both carts of Sonic 3 and Sonic&Knuckles, since the Sonic 3 case's plastic tabs get in the way of hold both carts although the case should be big enough.

First of all, it wasn't even version 1. The real version 1 was only shown behind closed doors and on an old poster covered up by shadows, not in any public trailer. We only have leaked pictures of it.
Second, I would have preferred we get a new Sonic design for the movie, instead of just copying the one from the games with more realistic textures applied. The old model was good, actually. You folks just look at the infamous screaming frame, which does look uncanny but still more expensive than the final version, and use it to dismiss that design as a whole, and that's no good!

I don't get why And Knuckles came in a crappy destroyable cardboard box, it should have came with a hard case modified to hold both carts of Sonic 3 and Sonic&Knuckles, since the Sonic 3 case's plastic tabs get in the way of hold both carts although the case should be big enough.
