That's some lovely animation! The real answer is, of course, one director created a character. The 2nd director didn't like them and killed them off. Then the 1st director comes back, goes "Oh fark. Oh fark. What do I do now?" and had Palps come back.
So to give it a lore-relevant answer, Snoke was an attempt to create a suitable force-sensitive body for Palpatine to transfer is being into, as shown by all the cloning pods on Exegol. It's why we see Palpatine and the Empire stay interested in cloning in, say, the Bad Batch, with the kidnapping of Omega and the Zillo Beast.
@@thomasb7347 do you not understand how animation works? The clip from the big review had a chick sitting in front of a camera, this is a completely different performance. This animation's biggest problem is that all of the motions are same-y and there is no impact or quick movements. it's like someone wading through water.
simple answer: the new trilogy of starwars makes no fcking sence at all
really cute character design and smooth animation! also the little snoke illustration sidebars were always funny lol

I feel like this has vague mlp character design in a way jenny would appreciate
That image:
"No make knows fritters like Farmer Pal's Critters."
"No, Dark tied."
Or the ultimate twist.
"I used, preservatives."

wow you're so talented!
Well of course they need to be shriveled.
That is how you become a master sith.
They will not look legit if they aren't shriveled.
The character design feels very danganronpa to me, but the style of animation kind of reminds me of old betty boop cartoons. it's cute!
Great animation!
Oh I know this one! It’s all made up. Hope this helps
low energy performance, character design was solid and stayed on model
Do you not know that this isn't a performance, it's a clip from a big review?
