Twice really had a legendary career run. I wish they could somehow come back on top.
Well if they jype stops releasing special songs about togetherness which basically is not GP friendly and something like what Nayeon released, it would be a guaranteed success.
If it’s just about the above, sure. But overall? TWICE is still on top. They still have the most number of music show wins, the most number of _daesangs,_ SOTY for three years in a row, etc.
Also, they are still the highest-selling girl group when it comes to cumulative album sales. And, of course, they still top the most number of performances in the biggest stadiums in the world especially in Japan.
That said, it’d be nice to see them release something more GP-friendly. They might not be their target audience (local vs international) anymore but, yeah, that’d be nice.

This is why jyp is known as the pioneer of gg in kpop, from wg to nmixx, all of them have a very well amount of streams, sales, and ntm good charting. Although there are many gg outside of jyp have seems to dominate the spotlight nowadays (e.g. Ive, nj & bp) but you can't deny how successful all of jype's g-groups are.
Tell me being at #1 for seven consecutive weeks and So Hot and Nobody at #1 for six weeks,making JYPE as a big ent. at the same time. However, the decline began when the promotion is prioritised to the U.S. with the help of members unstable lineup.
I am amazed by how Knock Knock, What is Love?, DTNA and YES or YES were only peaked at #2. M&M #5???? 😭
To say it got so much hate, sneakers charted amazing !
Miss A & ITZY have impressive debut chart.. i think that's because Wonder Girl & TWICE effect.. as Miss A debuted after Wonder Girl major success & ITZY debut as continuing TWICE legacy.. of course everyone paid more attention to them.. NMIXX debut is considered as wrong plan i guess. they come out as first experimental GG from JYP and everyone be like "what is this?"
Still dont understand how Cheshire flopped.. sneakers did quite decent, the drop was so unexpected...
ever since TWICE & ITZY promoted INTERNATIONAL, they've been flopping in korea....
The downfall of TWICE who was the very first priority VIP is so scary to watch. However TWICE had an impressive run in their four and a half years reign. They should have focused on domestic charts rather than HOT 100 aim.

"Untouchable" peaked at 93 and "One Spark" at 126. Twice is understandable but the fall of Itzy is crazy.

As for boy groups unfortunately only 2PM has charted well😭😭since 2am was under Bighit and Got7 hardly charted, same with Skz. Day6 as well barely charted before this year and XDH have no entries yet

korean domestic market is very small. nowadays most groups actively promote only for their first 3 years then focus on international
