"Thank you for continuing to maintain the supply chain, we need you guys out there but stay safe!!" Front lines are medical staff, grocery workers, truckers, first responders, longshoremen and utility workers, we need you guys, PLEASE KEEP UP THE GREAT/DANGEROUS WORK!!!" Love and respect! 🙂👍
Too bad everyone doesn't have the same respect for all of you drivers all year long and not just during a toilet paper crisis. A few weeks from now it'll be back to normal...."get out of my way" damn trucks lol. Thanks, all you drivers for providing us all year long!
Working at a truck stop during these times have made me be more thankful for drivers. SADLY A LOT of them are pissed about Loves changing restaurant hours being 6AM-10PM instead of 24/7 just so that we can clean the restaurant even more than we already do (the district my store is in is already super strict on cleaning from the register to the lines) I feel so bad for the night drivers but many of them understand we are doing it to keep not only us but more importantly them healthy so they can continue keeping this country running. Keep on keeping on guys love your content!
Over the pond we refer to red or white diesel, red being agricultural and marine with a dye in. The dye stains the cylinders so, if they want, Euro cops will scope the cylinders for that staining.
I saw Abby, and Tyson really enjoying the blossoming tree area at the truck stop. Talking about the hoarders during this pandemic, I saw where Costco will not be exchanging or taking back household essentials. Good for them. Take good care of those babies. God Bless You, and as always BE SAFE!!
I worked in a Diesel Fuel lab, Diesel #1 is kerosene, which gets blended with Diesel 2 (normal diesel fuel) for anti-gelling in low temp climates. It also provides an efficiency boost but can be expensive.
No dining rooms but thankfully they still do carry out business. Our fridge can’t stick nearly what y’all do. Stocked some heat up meals that don’t need a fridge and ramen bowls. Not the best but in a pinch we won’t starve
No 1 diesel is a winter mix we bond need here in Texas or the rest of the South so it won't gel up in the cold. No 2 is regular diesel. The red diesel is both as well but used in machinery
I believe #1 diesel is for winter use and #2 is for normal weather. So if you fill up in the south where it warm you might want to get a fuel additive so your fuel doesn't jell and plug your fuel line.
Thank you for all you do to get things where they need to go. I saw it written & I really liked it when someone said: "Truckers are the blood in the veins of the body of America"
Out here California we call it red dyed diesel You drive a yard truck and it doesn't leave the yard you can use red dyed diesel. And not very often but once in a while the scales will also check make sure you're not running red dyed diesel and a highway truck.
Number 1 has kero in it for winter. Ag fuel is available all over the country. In my state SC it is only available on a separate pump that's not on any fuel island and marked for agriculture use only. Transport police check it regularly in Carolina. I hope you stay running with all that's going on.
Hi Jason & Heather! Man it's like a ghost town here. With the shelter in place going on. (shake head) Some people are not listing and con grating at the beach. Pissed the governor, off He closed the beaches and state parks. I think all the restaurant's are closed to in dinning room, dining. It's go or drive through only... I don't know if they closed our rest areas or not. You guys stay safe out there. Thank you for the video. Peace, Love, & Expediting!!!
Hey Heather and Jason. Another great video. Hang in there during these trying times and keep doing what you two do. Keeping the pulse of Americas economy pumping is no easy job on good days much less during a pandemic. Take all your precautions to be safe. Know that WE thank you for providing America with the essential products and services needed to be as Crazy as we are. God bless you and the entire trucking industry. Safe travels and God's speed.
Hi Guys 👋... glad to see that you Rollin...#1 diesel is premium diesel. #2 is regular diesel. off road diesel is marked as such and is dyed red. Your truck needs some striping on the sides.... nothing ridiculous but cool. Wish I could still be driving but can't. Safe travels!
Hi you two, I am sending this from the UK, you are lucky if you can find hand sanitizer as we can’t get any have tried several supermarkets and none anywhere. As everyone is saying thank you for all you are doing getting the freight to where it is needed. Just be sure to keep you and the babies safe and sound. 😀
Here in mn #1 and #2 are both diesel, they dont sell the off road red dye diesel at gas stations or truck stops. When it gets really cold well below zero we put a blend of #1 and #2 in reefer tanks, #1 doesnt gel as easy as #2 in sub zero.
Red dye fuel is may have state tax on it but isn't taxed for road use. If red fuel is mixed with green (fuel with road use tax) the fuel will turn black. It takes several tankfuls of red fuel before the black does not show up. Both are number 2 fuel.
O boy, we are running out of things in our stores in Pennsylvania. Please keep safe and I'm glad you have your little home right with you so you don't have to worry about where to eat or a bathroom.
Wow I could not believe that many comments that I just read. I actually scrolled back and counted. Well here is another one . You brought me off the fence, and don’t know nothing about fuel. But no one said anything about that little pooch. Hope that occasionally, an itch is just an itch. Don’t want allergies, tumors or worms. I’m retired from running trade show docks and always enjoyed working with drivers. As you know the marshaling yard time always sucked. I started parking office trailers stocked with snacks and restrooms at them and never had a problem with a driver after that. Just back from a month on Kauai and glad we have all you truckers doing your thing for America and all you drivers overseas too. God bless, wash your hands, and don’t touch you face. Get back on those patches too, put the smoke money away for special stuff......hot sauce😎
Thank you for the videos, got my CDL a license yesterday, starting w/ a company in two weeks, will have my little dog w/ me after 4-6 weeks training. Your videos are helpful, thank you!
The difference in number1 and number2 diesel. Number2 is used year round in the southern states number 1 is for the northern states where you need an additive for diesel gelling up. The die both 1 and 2 for off road use like farm equipment and road repair equipment.
Beautiful flowers are great ! Except the blooming things give off pollen and killing my sinuses ! ! ! I am sneezing and snorting when I walk through the truckstop , and people are giving me dirty looks and moving quickly out of my way . But it happens every year at this time of year .
It's labeled off road fuel. Dyed red to show up in a tank. During natural disasters ( hurricanes) here in Florida sometimes they will allow us to run dyed fuel. As far as I know it's the same as #2 fuel just colored. Think #1 is premium fuel with additives for jelling.
You can use Off Road Diesel (Red) for reefer and APU is you have a separate fuel tank for it. At least you could 10 years ago. I love the new truck! Best of luck with it.
Hello , it’s never a crazy time , never , until I say it’s a crazy time and when I proclaim it’s a crazy time then you will know it , right now it’s the best time not the craziest time , thanks you 😊
stay safe y'all . i know this was recorded like a week ago but a lot of Texas counties on shelter in place orders now . anyway Heather you might want to check out Mortons on the Move on RUclips a couple that RV you'd like i think especially their Go north 20 episode serious
You 2 be SAFE out there, I'm a boat Captain moving fuel and chemicals, all you drivers are like us DEEMED ESSENTIAL. We have to move the goods that keep the country ALIVE ... be safe and let's keep AMERICA moving. THANK YOU to all ESSENTIAL workers .. to those who can not work ... our prayers go out to you all as well.
Number 1 and number 2 diese are just different types of diesel. In number 1 diesel they have removed the paraffin from the chemical formula so it has a lower pour point than number 2. If you go through most of Montana it’s the off road diesel that is what is used for reefers and ATV and ORV’s.
#1 diesel is winter diesel with a low paraffin content. #2 diesel is summer diesel. Marked diesel is for industrial or off-road use and could be either 1 or 2 depending on the area and time of the year. In real cold weather the paraffin in #2 will jell or wax up and plug the fuel filters. In Canada a lot of guys add a little ATF to the #1 diesel as it is dryer and sometimes hard on injectors. ULSD fuel is even worse as they have removed a lot more of the aromatics from the fuel. Enough said.
No.1 is basicly kerosene mix its ok to run its a lighter fuel we used to mix 1and 2 for winter use. Nowdays im not sure if they even allow you to use no1. Stay safe kids
You guys continue to stay safe out there and be careful you the puppies big hugs and kisses for me and hope we love you guys hope we get to see you guys soon after all this crap is over with
Think you went right by me. I Think I recognize that stone bridge you went by. Its just south of Staunton. Too bad I’m hiding out at home from the virus or I might have been out in I-81 and seen you.
ulsd diesel which means ultra low sulfur diesel which is dyed red for off-road use non-taxable. they also have blue dyed ultra low sulfur diesel which the US government only uses in their vehicles military. we have to use diesel number 2 which is green for are diesel trucks
Please stay the way you are and being awesome, stay safe and the your community will have your back. You may have to give a raise to your Mental Health Consultants, they are so cute. Keep on Trucking.
The Red-dyed Diesel Fuel is still #2 Diesel, its just got the Red dye in it. (I believe #1 Diesel is very close to Kerosene) DOT/FHP checks tanks here in Florida too!!
I have heard a lot of camp grounds and state parks as of 3/23 are shutting down. Some of the casinos have shut down the casino but are keeping the parking open. Stay safe and as the old Irish saying is keep the wind at your back. It’s also great for fuel mileage. LOL.
TheCraftyTrucker check out RVing with Andrew Steele. He has good info on closings and he looks like a damn good detailer if in you are ever in AZ. Thanks for the ❤️
Hey guys. Glad to hear you’re staying vigilant. It is crazy out there. No stores and no restaurants in the DFW area. Y’all be safe out there. See ya 😃❤️😃

I'm a retire farmer and owner operator i pull hay ,corn and ,soy beans if a farm name was on your truck and contracted for them you can used red fuel on the road in Indiana and Michigan I don't know about all states. Remember safety is number one on the road.
Hey kids, keeping my fingers & toes crossed that some good business comes your way soon! I love you attitudes toward life. Work and happiness! Love them pups too!
Eight minutes in. Just got home from work. first thing I do is open your channel. A crazy day of work. And all the negative virus news on the news. I just turn your channel on and enjoy your positive energy. Thank you 🙏🏻 Glenn from Winnipeg Manitoba Canada
ah cool.... australia is going crazy atm, all stores are empty of tissues especially... you guys keep safe and i enjoy your show on utube even tho im not a driver but its interesting watching your utube clips and learning about the trucking in the USA..
As far as I am aware the diesel is the same fuel they just add a red marker dye to one to identify a non taxed fuel, rural areas all over the world take the opportunity to run on cheaper fuel.
Standard diesel fuel (sometimes called diesel oil) comes in two grades: Diesel #1 (or 1-D) and Diesel #2 (or 2-D). The higher the cetane number, the more volatile the fuel. Most diesel vehicles use fuel with a rating of 40 to 55. ... Diesel #1 flows more easily than Diesel #2, so it's more efficient at lower temperatures.
#1 Diesel is Kerosene ,that's why is burns hotter , I live in ohio and a lot of guys will fill up with #2 and add about 10 to 15 gallons of #1 instead of adding an additive for gelling
@@brianowen6788 #1 diesel is NOT Kerosene, Kerosene is a different Type of fuel closer to Jet Fuel. I have seen people years ago mix Kerosene with Diesel in the winter, but you can't do that with the newer engines
Ross Johnson Back in the 70 my dad had a Mercedes Diesel. He used to run heating oil in until he got caught. Couldn't justify using so much heating oil in the summer.
In Canada, #1 Winterized fuel is all that is available in the winter, which can get colder than -50C according to Trucker Josh who is based in Manitoba, but hauls flatbed cargo between Canada and the USA & has experienced JELLING even with Canadian #1 fuel with added anti-jel.
Diesel #1 and #2 have nothing to do with on or off road diesel. #2 is regular diesel and #1 is a blend of diesel that resists gelling to much lower temps than #2. Off road or red diesel is just regular diesel with a red dye in it. As you said, there are no taxes on red diesel since it to be used in off road vehicles. Btw, the red dye is very strong. If you end up misfueling it will take forever to go away. If you are caught using off road fuel the fines are huge. I know someone that got caught using it in a tow truck and he got a $3000 fine.
D1 helps fuel flow when it's cold I mix it 25%#1 to 75%#2 at 0 degrees or less plus antigel when I run dd15 wia apu I go heavy because of filter gelling...also thanks for the videos
Not a trucker, just addicted to you guys. You're both definitely Category 1 controlled substances. I'm curious, when you got pulled over for Level 3, are you considered on duty as far as driving logs?
Watching from Canada and i just wanted to say thank you it is because of folks like you that are still out there doing what you do that stores are restocked be safe and again much respect and thank you so much from the bottom of my heart.

Longhorn Steakhouse said all truckers can pull into their lot and order a meal. They will bring it out to the truck to you.
That’s awesome
Texas steak house too!
Golden Corral has done the same here in Ohio
Someone should start a board that truckers can go to for this certain thing on eateries!!
I appreciate truckers so much. You guys rock.

Truck drivers are Rock Stars
Think you went right by me. I Think I recognize that stone bridge you went by. Its just south of Staunton. Too bad I’m hiding out at home from the virus or I might have been out in I-81 and seen you.
Nice had. Lookin pretty dapper there.
I would think the Truckers are more vital to us in general for all the things we need.
Diesel #1 is better for the cold weather. Lesser chance of gelling. Consider using it when you are running across the northern states in cold weather.
Good to know. Thank you.

Please stay the way you are and being awesome, stay safe and the your community will have your back. You may have to give a raise to your Mental Health Consultants, they are so cute. Keep on Trucking.

Just want you two to know, I appreciate that you are keeping the wheels turning. Thanks for the shots of the fur babies, Love it.... Stay safe
Thanks for keeping your truck rolling!
In Canada farm fuel is generally colored "Purple". It is the same fuel except dye is put into the load if it's farm fuel
Nice to see you guys come through my state minnesota.
I have heard a lot of camp grounds and state parks as of 3/23 are shutting down. Some of the casinos have shut down the casino but are keeping the parking open. Stay safe and as the old Irish saying is keep the wind at your back. It’s also great for fuel mileage. LOL.
Lol
Thanks for sharing that. We have not heard about that yet. We did here slab city closed to outsiders
TheCraftyTrucker check out RVing with Andrew Steele. He has good info on closings and he looks like a damn good detailer if in you are ever in AZ. Thanks for the ❤️
Red dye can b #1 or #2. The dye is just to tell the dif between taxed and tax exempted.
The TA here in Concordia, Missouri closed the buffet. I think the Subway is closed also.
LOVE TO YOU BOTH AND STAY SAFE SHEREE AND GARY UK.
Love to y’all too. Be very careful over there
Drivers and warehouse guys are keeping the shelves stocked
Hey guys. Glad to hear you’re staying vigilant. It is crazy out there. No stores and no restaurants in the DFW area. Y’all be safe out there. See ya 😃❤️😃

Thank you
We went into lock down tonight 8.30 for the next 21 days in the UK. Stay safe guys love your vlogs
